We have again just bought and sold through G&L and once more recieved an exceptional service.<br><br>We really felt that Adele went out of her way to get our property sold in less than 2 weeks. Ever the property professional she helped us all the way along the process with excellent advice, always staying calm and solving problems when ever they arise.<br>Adele and Duncan also worked hard to find us a property once we were sold and because we had access to their upcoming listing's they found us something really amazing and we are truly grateful for that.<br><br>Then as anyone who has bought a house will know property chains are rarely simple. Lucy is in charge of sales progression and is always 4 steps ahead of everyone else. Leading the charge to chase down all the solicitors, other estate agents and vendors to get things moving. Lucy also kept me regularly updated during sometimes stressful times and we certainly appreciated it.<br><br>Big thank you to an excellent team once again at Goodman & Lilley in Henleaze. We continue to reccomended you highly to our friends and family.<br><br>JUNE 2020<br>I would highly recommend Goodman & Lilley and the amazing team at the Henleaze office. We bought and sold properties with them and the service received was always above and beyond. We mostly dealt with Adele and Duncan throughout the process and always found both of them to be extremely professional and personable. They were very supportive and understanding of all the emotions that come with the moving process, Without doubt we would recommend them to friends and family and if we ever need to sell again I know who we will be instructing.

The process was very well handled by Stevie Worgan who really helped us get the deal completed. Thanks also to the team who showed us round the properties.
14th Aug 2026 (4 weeks ago)These were the worst landlords I’ve ever had. They do not care about students at all. We lived in black mould for a year, and were told to just wipe the mouldy paint off the walls which was falling off from damp. My flatmate contracted eczema from the mould, which lead to infection and a cyst which had to be surgically treated (the doctors said it was from mould induced eczema). Emails asking for any repairs were ignored for months. For example broken back door which led to slugs coming into the bedrooms and all over the carpets. They couldn’t even fix a broken fridge handle they just ignored our emails about it the entire year. The following year we moved out and had Bristol student lets which i can’t recommend enough , they were amazing and fixed everything on the same day and actually cared. You’ll notice all the good reviews are from landlords who use robin king, not tenants.

They always give very good advice and answer any questions and take time to explain the whole process from start to finish. So thanks to Andy, James, and liz and any other team members i have spoken to. Tyler Vear oversaw the process and was incredible. Tyler is so kind, helpful and kept us notified throughout the whole process, even when the solicitors were not communicating with either of us. We received helpful mortgage advise from Andy. Overall we are very grateful for all of the support from the Connells team and could not fault them. From the initial conversations to the very last day they have been clear at communicating and always happy to assist. 10th Sep 2026 (4 days ago)This is an honest review of what service I received. I spoke to the manager and the level of service I received from Adam was the only reason they didn’t get one star. First of all the original description was very vague and I had to request a more detailed description. The biggest issue I had was I requested only one thing. My indoor cat wasn’t to be let out so I asked that no exterior door be left open for any reason. I have indoor cameras and on two occasions I saw my external door left open with no care at all if my cat escapes. The final straw was on completion day I retained a set of keys just to be safe and when the new owners turned up to receive the keys from the estate agent they didn’t have them and I had to all down to give them my set (which I was keeping until I knew they had a set). Not a great service and I have kept the video of the doors being left open if management claim it didn’t happen.
