I left a property since July 12th and as at today, they are still holding back my tenancy deposit, saying they are waiting for landlord authorisation despite knowing clearly that tenancy deposit must be returned within ten days after tenant vacated the property

We can’t speak highly enough of Ellie for all of her help throughout the sale of our house. Always at the end of the phone and helping to chase things up when required. 9th Jul 2026 (25 days ago)Absolutely amazing from start to finish, all the staff are so friendly and helpful. With two young kids we could take them into the modern office whilst we had a chat on sofas (crayons, paper and a few toys were on hand). Free parking on site and customer toilets.<br>We had a few issues understanding some forms so Karen sat with us and talked through them also gave us advice when we had our survey and structural reports back.<br>Anytime something came up that we were unsure about, SP were always there to reassure, advise and ensure everything went as smoothly as possible.<br>Thank you all so much for the help in such stressful time, we really appreciate all the conversations and advice you gave us.
25th Nov 2025 (8 mo. ago)It’s really important to find an estate agent that can market, generate interest and ultimately get that sale you are wanting and Alexander’s can do this. What most people forget about is the process from accepting that offer to completion day, which can be a long time, in a long chain, with long delays from various solicitors and issues that arise. Molly Mcbride at Alexander’s is extremely tenacious, educated and has your back all the way to the finish line. She single handedly progressed our whole chain, constantly chasing up and down, jumping over every hurdle and there was a few! Had we chosen another estate agent I would still be waiting to exchange, it’s opened my eyes into how important it is to make sure you instruct the right estate agent with the right people. Thank you so much Molly!

He arrived thoroughly prepared with market data, detailed analysis, comparable properties, social media marketing examples, and a clear strategy for selling our home. He spent plenty of time with us, answered all our questions, and showed genuine passion and enthusiasm for our property—something the other agents simply didn't.<br><br>The marketing was excellent. It was clear the team had taken the time to research the property properly, and the photography, video, and social media promotion were all first-class.<br><br>Throughout the entire process, communication was fantastic. We received regular updates, and the team were always quick to deal with any administrative tasks or queries. 16th May 2026 (11 weeks ago)I was not empressed to poor commucation and also the new changes in renting rights fail here with this estate agents regards to everyone whom have a booking to view a property should be able to see the property and have a chance to apply, to which did not happen my viewing was canceled due to the property was letted. Then i was kind being push to view different property to which i was not interested in. The council says try private rented places whilst my application is being change due my sitution that has changed. So i will be informing council of poor excuses i was given that was given in our email exchange ...

Not the fault of the estate agent, however there was no adjustment to the online profile at any point to refresh the advert. Nothing posted on socials that I’m aware of either.

Having met with various estate agents before selecting R&L, they were the most open, honest and informative regarding the selling process who completely put me at ease and enabled me to trust their process as a first time seller. They booked in open days which were highly beneficial to both ourselves and to the potential buyers, using a wonderful local colleague who truly sold our house and the local area to a very high standard. They helped us sell our house within a few weeks being on the market, two open days and the more offers than we were expecting, all above our initial asking price. Most importantly for us was communication with ourselves and internally so everyone was on the same page, and both solicitors were kept in the loop too. Cannot recommend them enough! Thank you team!

During what I can only describe as the most difficult of house selling journeys. From start to finish they have been friendly, approachable, personable, contactable, reactive… the list could go on! I couldn’t have picked a better agent and words don’t do the level of service that they have provided justice…! Creightons really do go above and beyond and are always thinking out of the box to solve any issues. The team is super friendly with a one big family feel but a no nonsense approach when needed. Stop searching, Creightons is the one!
