The team are professional, friendly and responsive. This is our 5th year using Sawyer and we expect to maintain the relationship into the future.

2nd Sep 2026 (17 days ago)We have had a great experience buying a house with Jacobs Steel in Shoreham. They provided us with a really personal, trustworthy and considerate service. Shannon went above and beyond to get us into properties early and found us our forever home. We felt she really cared about us and worked so hard to find us the right house. We had quite a difficult conveyancing period as someone in our chain had complicated finances and we have to give a special mention to Dom. He kept us informed- he kept us buoyant and he provided a really exceptional customer service. He was knowledgeable about the process and tried hard to speed the process up for us. I think we might have thrown the towel in if he hadn’t been quite so persistent! He is a real asset to the company. We bought through Jacobs Steel and I wish we had sold through them too. We chose a more local agent but we really valued how dynamic the team at Shoreham were in getting us over the line. Many thanks! It’s a stressful process, there’s no denying it and you need a strong team like this one behind you. I would recommend Jacob’s Steel to anyone.

A special mention to Hassen, who I worked with from start to end of the process, and who was friendly, communicative, responsive, honest, positive and super upbeat throughout. I never had to chase for updates as he was always on the ball and kept in close contact. He was very helpful and supportive throughout, and I really appreciated all his help.

16th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)If I could give lower than a 1 star review I would. We had a very disappointing experience renting through Brand Vaughan.<br><br>At the viewing we specifically asked about mould and were told there were no issues. On moving in, we immediately found mould in kitchen cupboards, and later in both bathrooms and on an external kitchen wall. We were later told by a contractor working on the property that these issues were already known, which is extremely concerning but as the property had been repainted etc before we moved in the issue was temporarily unnoticable. It has since returned despite running dehumidifiers 24hours a day since we moved in.<br><br>The communication throughout the process was also poor, with unclear and inconsistent information, delays with contracts, and repeated difficulty getting straight answers at key stages of the move.<br><br>We were advised not to book removals due to contract delays, which ultimately caused unnecessary stress and a delayed move-in, despite rent already being paid.<br><br>I would advise future tenants to independently verify everything rather than relying on information provided during the letting process as the letting agent we dealt with seemed totally ill prepared and quite novice at his job.<br><br>**In response to the comment below from Charters even insinuating that it isn't a genuine review, it could unfortunately could not be a truer representation of the horrendous experience I had with them. I lodged a formal complaint via email already and the useless response I got just goes to show how little they care.<br><br>DO NOT USE THIS ESTATE AGENTS!

I thought I'd lost it at one point but Nick was fantastic negotiating and liaising with the seller to make it happen. I also met several others of the team when viewing the house and everyone has been super friendly, professional and helpful - very highly recommended !

James was thorough and knowledgeable at the valuation, and I was pleased with the listing and photos.<br><br>Communication was great throughout, with Harry, Aiden and the whole team very responsive and regularly checking in. We achieved a good price, and I was very happy with the service from beginning to end.
