We had a tricky situation with our tenancy ending and finding new place which needed sorting, and Adrian has an absolute legend in getting it all resolved for us. He is a lovely guy to speak with on the phone, professional, patient when showing me and baby son property to view, incredibly understanding, and most importantly, he actually gets things done. ???????????? Highly recommend him and the team if you want an agent who genuinely looks out for you. We have years of previous experience with other letting agents and I must say that Wendy does stand out for her professional yet friendly approach and how prompt she has been with answering all our enquiries during the letting process. Also, we must mention Julia, who too is very prompt and with a positive attitude, ready to sort necessary things out! Well done Ladies for examplar service and thank you very much for your support!
11th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)The worst estate agents in Amersham by far.<br>-We viewed 4 properties with Robsons and the agents showing us around often contradicted the property brochures.<br>-For two properties we looked to buy, we were advised not to bother viewing, both are still up on the market.<br>-We were pressured by staff into cancelling a viewing unless an offer was put in at the viewing, that house now remains on the market 3 months later.

30th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)I would highly recommend Straffords. From start to finish, the service we received was excellent. Luke was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. He was always available to answer any questions and kept us updated every step of the way. Even while he was on holiday, he still took the time to respond, which really showed his commitment and professionalism. Leon was also fantastic and always responded quickly to any emails or queries we had. The whole process of letting our property was made so much easier thanks to their knowledge, communication and support. Straffords did a fantastic job marketing the property, with brilliant photography and a Rightmove listing that really showcased it well. They helped us find a suitable tenant and guided us through the process smoothly from beginning to end. Even now, we know we can get in touch with them if we need any help or advice, which gives great peace of mind. Thank you, Luke, Leon and the team at Straffords, for all your hard work. We really appreciate everything you have done and would happily recommend you to anyone looking for a professional and reliable letting agent.

His local knowledge was spot on, instead of dragging us through endless time-wasting viewings, he filtered our enquires and brought the right buyer to us and our home sold after just one viewing. He stayed on top of things throughout the sale too, chasing the solicitors when needed to keep everything moving. He was friendly and easy to deal with the whole way through, and it made the process so much less stressful than we expected.

He went out of his way to help us every step of the journey, with a level of care and professionalism that is genuinely rare. If you want someone who truly helps you through the whole process, Anthony is your guy. Highest possible recommendation!

14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)The photography was 5star and the online advert was very good. However the handling of viewings was varied with the different estate agents seeming to have different levels of skill about selling the house and it's location. Communication was poor. I had to call them repeatedly for updates even when they had said that someone would call me. All the staff from Connells were impeccably turned out and very polite and friendly.

19th May 2025 (1 year ago)Thomas Connelly have been good trying to sell our house. They have been polite and courteous when reaching out, and they have tried different things to push the sale. I would have really liked more feedback and more of a push from there end to get creative in the sale space but I feel the experience overall is a positive one.

Our house sold quickly but we have been waiting for many months in a long chain and suddenly had a very tight timescale to find and move to a rental. Elaine and team were extremely helpful. Nothing was every too much trouble and they guided us through a very stressful week. Thank you.

10th May 2022 (4 years ago)1st Choice a friendly family run business always maintained excellent communication which I really liked, if I had any problem weekday, weekend, or on a holiday, Kelly would reply back to my messages for support very quickly and same day. When I moved in to the property it was fully refurbished to an excellent standard. One time during winter I had a problem with my boiler with no heating for a few days. I made one call to 1st Choice and Mark dropped off some electric heaters, untill we got it fixed through Mear's. Anyone looking for property to rent then I would definatley recommend 1st Choice.
