We had our flat on the market with Dexter's for the exclusivity period. During that time we were passed between 3 contacts at Dexter's. The first agent left within a week or two of taking our property on, put little effort into the marketing of the property resulting in a poor advert and poor viewings. The second agent was much better, rectified many mistakes and did find us a buyer. The buyer sadly pulled out, but by this point the second agent at Dexter's had also moved on. It took 3 days for us to hear of the news of the buyer falling through and a further week for the agent to actually make any contact with us. We found out the buyer had pulled out from our estate agent from the property we were purchasing calling our solicitors and asking for an update. Dexter's in my opinion were an appalling service. We put out flat on the market with another agent and had a brilliant offer, from a truly lovely couple within a few weeks. I wish I'd gone with the data in GetAgent in the first place, rather than going on gut feel. When we bought our flat it was with Dexter's and we got the impression that they were relationship people, however, it turns out they act in the interest of the buyer not the seller.... Read more

The company is horrible. They are not interested in anything. They are very unprofessional, not responding to emails or phones. They are not refunding a deposit and finding unrealistic excuses not to refund the deposit. I won't recommend anyone to work for the company. Very very bad experience.... Read more

Agency was great throughout our tenancy in terms of communication and maintenance. The issues I had were after we moved out when it came to our deposit. They flipped my mattress to find an old stain which they then tried to charge me for. The mattress had not been flipped before I moved in or during my tenancy so I was able to dispute this. I am a young professional and the flat was in excellent condition when we left. It needed a professional clean which I was happy to pay for. Our tenancy was for 2 years and there was a small amount of expected wear and tear (eg. a few unnoticeable marks on the walls). The agency said they needed to repaint the entire flat and took this out of our deposit. I have rented with a number of letting agents whilst living in Manchester and they were the only one who took a significant portion of my deposit.... Read more

We instructed Perfect Pillars in April 2025. Sharon did an excellent job arranging viewers as she was very easy to deal with. In July ( approx) we secured a buyer. Jenny was very skilled in how she managed the long journey to conveyancing completion, despite issues with the buyers lender, Jenny demonstrated excellent customer service, keeping all parties informed until completion in late November 2025.
