From start to finish, Lee and Vicky have been professional, friendly, responsive, trustworthy and transparent. They have gone above and beyond to help to get an outcome that was best for all parties and to move the process forward to completion including after the initial offer was accepted (despite a few unexpected hiccups on our side along the way!) We felt like they really cared about finding and securing the right family home for us, and that it was not simply another transaction for them. They seem to also place value in building relationships and getting to know the people they work with - for example, they also seemed to have a longstanding relationship with the sellers and a good understanding of their approach with the house. We would thoroughly recommend Abode and would be happy to use their services again in the future.

29th Jan 2026 (18 days ago)I didn’t sell my property through Park Lane Properties, but I did purchase my home through them and felt I had to leave a positive review — especially for Amie. Unfortunately, the estate agents who sold our home were terrible and dishonest, and dealing with them really highlighted how exceptional Amie was. We could only wish we had an agent like her on our side. Amie was honest, professional, and communicated brilliantly throughout the process. Any questions we had were answered quickly and clearly. She did an excellent job representing her client, making sure we were financially ready to proceed and that everything was in place, which made the whole purchase far smoother than it could have been. I truly hope her client also leaves a positive review, as Amie was fantastic. She sets the bar incredibly high within the industry, and other estate agents, especially ours should really take a leaf out of her book. If you live in the area and thinking of selling, call Park Lane! Thank you Park Lane & Amie.

22nd Jan 2026 (25 days ago)The whole team at Arkwright’s in Saffron Walden have been a joy to work with. From initial contact, to the sales details - including a very inventive video, made on the only rainy day for weeks and weeks with a ‘Singing in the rain’ sound track! l had several viewings in the first week and an agreed sale within around 2 weeks ( after having been with another agent for 4 months with no viewings at all) The whole process has been easy, efficient, profession, respectful and friendly. I would highly recommend them and especially if you have a slightly quirky property. Thanks to all.
23rd Jan 2026 (24 days ago)Beresfords Lettings Agents in Great Dunmow have looked after our rental property for us for the past 5 years, Kirsty and Gillian have been the best help and provided the best service for us as landlords and our tenants along the way, nothing was to much for them and it was a pleasure to have them at the end of the phone when needed, both of them and the company have made the process so easy and manageable. 100% recommendation for anyone looking for a reliable letting agency in the Great Dunmow area.
15th Jan 2026 (5 weeks ago)I am not one given to writing reviews good or bad, but felt I had to take few moments to express my gratitude to Intercounty Saffron Walden & in particular, Karen Johnson. We had a very bumpy ride with my purchase of a property, but with fantastic communication, professional expediency, coupled with a faith that it would eventually happen, we got there. I cannot thank them enough for their patience. I wouldn't hesitate in using this agency for any further selling/ purchasing, or letting needs.

She was so polite, highly professional, and showed a lot of patience in guiding us through the viewing and accommodated any last minute changes. Emma was thorough and responsive, she made the entire experience smooth. I also need to commend Warren for his dedication and would happily recommend William H Brown to anyone looking to buy a property.- 28th Jan 2026 (19 days ago)My own sale was very protracted and I was keen not to lose the house I wanted to buy through Intercounty. The staff did a great job of keeping the vendors informed about the reasons for the delay in my sale and ensured they stuck with me. Calls and queries were always answered promptly. Excellent service all round.
25th Nov 2025 (12 weeks ago)We have used Kings Property in the past finding tenants for our rental property but this was the first time we had used their services for sales. Again, the service that we received from James, Tracy, Callum and the team was excellent. After perseverance from them, a buyer was found! The after sales service was great - we were kept up to date with everything and the minor hiccups were sorted out quickly by James enabling the sale to proceed to completion. We wouldn't hesitate in recommending Kings Property to any vendors or landlords. Thanks guys!

From start to finish, they were professional, responsive, and incredibly supportive throughout the whole process. Seden was brilliant during the viewing very friendly, knowledgeable, and made me feel completely at ease. Ismaaiil handled all the paperwork and administration seamlessly, explaining everything clearly and making the process stress-free and straightforward. Both of them went above and beyond to help, and their communication was excellent throughout. Truly amazing service from start to finish. Highly recommended!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

4th Feb 2026 (12 days ago)Our journey to exchanging contracts was long and fraught with difficulty. Throughout this whole time, Oakheart kept us informed and up-to-date, and we felt that Amy really understood the issues and motivations behind them and gave some very solid and level-headed advice. She was constantly calm and always available at the end of the phone to provide reassurance and explain any issues. We also appreciated the very valuable advice provided by Josh at several decision points along the way. We have had contact with many (too many!) other Colchester-based estate agents and none of them came anywhere close to providing the high standard of personal customer service that Oakheart did. At every step of the journey from very first contact they were there providing well-reasoned and honest advice and excellent service. If you are thinking of selling your home I would highly recommend Oakheart for an honest, reliable, and excellent experience.
