4th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)I have rented with several agencies in London but Oliver Brooks (now operating as Kenneth Lloyd’s) was by far the worst experience. Once the agreement was signed the agency stopped caring about the condition of the property. Imran the owner was so rude, had an attitude problem and spoke to tenants with complete disrespect. Despite repeated emails, serious maintenance issues were ignored- the kitchen exhaust never worked and I was told it was “not life-threatening” and to open a window lol. There was no cleaner, common areas were poorly maintained, the WiFi never worked properly, the fridge was broken, and bathroom windows would not close. Living there for a year was extremely stressful and moving is not easy or cheap for tenants who work hard for their money unlike Imran . I strongly recommend anyone considering this agency to read the reviews carefully before renting.

23rd Jan 2022 (4 years ago)In an industry which is among the five least trusted professions, Hamptons Canary Wharf, but specifically Jack, are raising the bar. I am completing my first home purchase and Jack took an honest selling approach from the beggining, understanding the type of property that I was after. While real estate promotions are usually generic, he highlighted this property to me knowing it checked a number of points while was also transparent on not selling too hard on properties which were outside budget/criteria, which resulted in greater trust. Further, I worked with Capital Private Finance where Avneet provided me with a number of options, while Paul and Kevin at Adams Kaye would periodically check in, pushed the seller's solicitors, and kept a good cadence of communication. Happy with the combined efforts, will look to re-use and recommend.

Their response time is incredible (shoutout to James) and the move process was made so easy for me (shoutout to Alicia). I’ve had so many awful experiences with other London agencies but they really went above and beyond for me and ensured my renting process has been smooth-sailing and problem-free. Super pleased with their services!

Jasmine was really personable, answered all my questions (including following up via e-mail as needed), and supported me throughout the process. I am a first time buyer so didn’t know anything about the necessary steps so Jasmine and her colleague (Sandip) helped guide and prepare me throughout. I definitely recommend using Hawks and Jasmine.

As soon as probate was granted he aligned peope to view and very soon we had an offer. He is a lovely man providing an excellent service. I would recommend 100% Many thanks
20th Mar 2026 (7 weeks ago)This is a horrible letting agency. They took all of our deposit, the entire two month deposit. £2500 gone. They WILL exploit you. They will take your money. I even paid close to £300 on the professional cleaning service that this good for nothing agency suggested. We paid all of our rents on time, all bills on time. Kept the property like we were living in our own home. If you are unfortunate enough to have to take a house with them i suggest you do not engage with agent called LUKE PEGG. if you are hearing from this man they will be taking your money. I hope this agency goes out of business. No one reads comments but if you are reading this AVOID SAMUEL ESTATE AND LUKE PEGG. 6th Mar 2026 (9 weeks ago)So glad I didn’t end up renting with this company after my extremely poor experience and seeing these reviews online. Communication was terrible, arrived at the my pre-booked appointment after calling the office 4 times to get more information about the location. Was told to come back the next day to see two properties which were on for £300pcm more than the one I originally requested, both of which thy stated ‘we currently have multiple offers on both’. Overhyped and overrated, this is all that is wrong with the property market in London. Don’t waste your time.

They truly went the extra mile to ensure I felt confident and secure in finding the right tenant—someone who would genuinely love and take care of my home. Throughout the entire process, they have been extremely communicative and efficient. Delivering great service and depth of knowledge. Overall, I feel secure, well looked after, respected and listened to. I couldn’t recommend them more highly.

1st May 2026 (5 days ago)I would like to share my experience with landlords who are thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be very happy to take full year commission from you the moment they have found a tenant for you but they will not refund you in cash if your tenant moves out early say after month 2 in my case. They will not return you the commission even if you no longer wish to rent out your property. Be very careful if you are considering using Foxtons. I see the business practice as totally unfair and have shared with all my neighbours and community groups. People need to be aware of it. I will share it over the social platforms as well to promote awareness. Think about selling your property through Foxtons. Would you want to use a company like this? I wouldn’t.
