17th Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)Beware when your purchaser takes out a mortgage through your estate agent Would like to give zero but not allowed . In my opinion Ashbourne Bagshaws Residential protected a so called ‘hot buyer ‘ to the detriment of my sale. Helen (manager) lied to my face and said sale was going well . All the while she knew the so called ‘buyer’ had no mortgage or buildings regulations for a conversion ie not proceedable . Nor even had they 5 weeks later carried out the security checks for conveyance . I lost property after property . This is now a law suit and far from me being a tricky vendor the purchaser were not proceedable at that time. Over 4 months later l withdrew as still no Exchange . Connells the owner of Bagshaws Residential were willing to completely forget their duty to me in favour of this so called hot buyer . They were happy to let this go on month after month until the purchaser was able to proceed. In my opinion it is dishonest to favour a buyer because they were purchasing their mortgage through Connells .
7th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)We had a brilliant experience with Connells, Clare in particular helped us view many houses always accommodating our schedule. We always had prompt emails back from Clare and lots of help and advice from Charley also. Everyone was so friendly and helpful, highly recommend Connells stony Stratford.

We were kept updated throughout the conveyancing process and they have both been on hand to help us when needed. This agency gives the impression of being helpful and supportive, but in reality they are misleading, unresponsive, and only focused on their commission. They make promises they don’t keep and seem to have little genuine interest in the buyer’s situation. I would strongly advise others to stay away and choose a more trustworthy agency.

The team were professional, proactive, and genuinely invested in helping me find the perfect home. They communicated clearly at every stage, answered all my questions promptly, and made the entire buying process feel smooth and stress-free. What stood out most was their reliability and attention to detail. They kept me updated throughout, handled any issues quickly, and worked closely with all parties to ensure everything stayed on track. Their friendly and supportive approach made a huge difference during what can often be a complicated experience. I’m absolutely delighted with my new home and incredibly grateful for the outstanding service I received. I would highly recommend this estate agent to anyone looking to buy a property — truly first-class!

6th Feb 2026 (18 weeks ago)Not very kind of you to delete my review. Guess I’ll just have to say it again. Everyone is entitled to tell the truth aren’t they Andy? I would appreciate it if you could not delete it this time. I honestly don't even know where to begin with this Man. If you listen to any of these reviews listen to this one. I've spent two years renting a property from 'Davis and partners' they have left me in there for 6 months with no boiler/heating. Black mould everywhere to the point l've had to get an inhaler and steroids. Told me the plumbing and pipe work was not his problem thus causing my bath to fill up everytime I shower and does not drain for two days. About a year ago the upstairs neighbours had a leak it came through my ceiling, going into all of my electrics. Andy told me I was '1000%' safe? And it was just an egg cup full of water! His solution to this mess, was sending a contractor' who stuck the sewage filled wallpaper back to my ceiling and painted over it. Not only this but he also stood on my Hob and cracked it down the middle. Most recently we're talking just a few days here, my upstairs neighbour drained her bath and the entire thing came through my ceiling in the hallway and bathroom. The lights have filled up with water causing my electricity to trip and his response was there is nothing he can do I have to sort it myself. This man is a disgrace and has no problem whatsoever leaving people to live in dire conditions but he has no problem renovating his new office and bragging about it online. He also failed to tell me for two years my rent has been going into the wrong account and when I said I felt extremely uncomfortable with this, his response to me was "okay Casey I'm just simply asking you to pay the rent into the correct account?" I'm just struggling to understand why and how this was not mentioned two years ago? Furthermore, on the 18th of December I emailed Andy with a list of repairs, I then received an eviction notice Dated the same day. I would Recommend not using this estate agent if you would not like to be scammed and left to live in conditions no person should live in. My upstairs neighbour has two very small children and I think it's a disgrace to leave them in such danger. This poor excuse of an estate agent will not help you nor does he care to. No human should be left to live in the conditions this man has no issue leaving people in.
21st Apr 2026 (8 weeks ago)I have had multiple experience with the staff here and can honestly say that I would not go anywhere else. The staff are very professional, provide a great service and are very helpful and polite. Having both purchased and sold with whitegates and experienced superb service each time I though it was only fair that I shout about it so that others will know how good they really are. I only ever recommend them (and yes I have tried others in the past, my worst experience being with a company that has an X in there name). Whitegates however have and are always spot on, you wont go wrong using them. Thank you to everyone there for the years of amazing service.

If I ever need to purchase anything again in my hometown, I will definitely call the team again to find me the right property. Thanks again guys.

I'm a first time buyer so was just putting up with it at first, but everytime I look elsewhere for understanding I find out just how much this agency is not working in line with normal expectations. They provide no information then chase you as if you're a nuisance. Information from them doesn't match up with what I get from my solicitors. The entire process has been much more stressful than necessary and I'm ridiculously disappointed. I have family moving up North and with how bad this process has been I'm at a point where I would encourage them to miss out on great properties just to avoid dealing with Lovelle Hykeham

I can’t thank Tash and Ella enough for making my house sale run smoothly and quickly. From coming on the market it sold and completed in 11 weeks. Would highly recommend Benjamins. Fantastic solicitor recommendation as well. Thank you again for being amazing.

17th Dec 2025 (5 mo. ago)Recently sold a property with these, I honestly can’t recommend them enough . From the initial valuation right up until the day of the sale the whole team were amazing. The team kept in contact effectively and aired their opinions on proceedings and offer advice to aid with the sale. All questions I had (no matter how stupid) were answered in a friendly professional manner. All viewings on the property were booked and handled by the team and feedback was honest and delivered in a timely manner. Not once was I pressured or hassled into using any of their services but was advised of the services they offered . All the team seemed to be in the loop of the progression so was able to responded to all queries no matter the day I contacted them. 100% these guys would be my first port of call if I was to sell a property again in future.

1st Nov 2025 (7 mo. ago)Well it all started good. Then when you try to phone, your call constantly goes to voicemail. They say they return all calls, well this was not the case. At the end of the 16 week contract we split with Woodward. We thought going for a small local company would be a good idea, this was unfortunately a bad idea. We did not sell, when was got the keys returned, rather than talk to us, to have any feedback, literally they posted the keys through the letterbox and ran off. Bad experience in general. I would not recommend.

Richard and John have gone above and beyond doing things for me I never thought any estate agents would do. I highly recommend RH homes to anybody looking for a new home I will never use anywhere else again and will be sticking with these religiously If I could Rate more than a 5 star I would Thank you for your patience and hard work you’ve put in for me guys
