14th Sep 2026 (7 weeks ago)Excellent service throughout, would highly recommend.
14th Sep 2018 (8 years ago)Very poor experience with this office. Terrible service stemming from terribly poor management. I have had my offer accepted by the vendor nine (9) months ago and contract exchange has not yet taken place! Still ongoing. Branch manager Andrew Wallington who should be dealing with the project, continuously on leave and taking days off. Just a general lack of involvement. Even incompetence has its limits. I have had to personally chase for updates for the majority of the 9 months with Mr Wallington's colleagues, who of-course scarcely know what is going on. Finally, I have come to a position where I am forced to bow out. Having already raised this issue with the Regional Manager- Jacqui White. Her response was essentially it is a "busy office", there are no "notes on the system" to confirm [my] complaints and if you remain dissatisfied, refer your complaint to the customer relations manager. I will now be taking this up with the The Property Ombudsman. I certainly will not be contacting Haart for any further dealings and would recommend this office only as one to avoid.
8th Sep 2026 (8 weeks ago)All the staff at Haart Romford were very easy to get on with, knew their subject and helped to make the challenges of selling a property as easy as possible. They oversaw the selling process with ease and were always accessible.
18th Sep 2026 (6 weeks ago)Didn’t sell the property, didn't market like they said they would
19th Mar 2026 (7 mo. ago)Very good customerr dervice
21st Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Thank you so much for making our sale happen so easily and quickly, at pretty much the full asking price. I will always use you for any property sales.
10th Oct 2026 (23 days ago)Great team, very responsive and helpful. Would recommend! Thank you so much
25th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)They know a lot about the available properties in the area. I found a property within a week and mine was sold a few days later.
9th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I would definitely recommend Thomas if you are looking for a brilliant estate agent. His knowledge, communication and feedback went above and beyond what I had ever expected. He answered any queries which I had very promptly .....he gave me excellent advice from our first point of contact. Thomas and Kellie offered ideas to 'tweek' certain aspects of my property to make it more aesthetically pleasing to the eye.....which obviously helped as he achieved a sale within four weeks!!! Well done to Thomas and his staff at Essex Guild Homes!!!
19th Jan 2026 (9 mo. ago)I would just like to mention Gerard Biagioni who helped me find new tenants for my office I own but also introduced a prospective buyer for the office as I was given to believe my tenants were leaving but they have now changed their minds. Gerard has in my opinion gone above and beyond helping me with what are very difficult tenants and tricky negotiations and has fought my corner every step of the way. I cannot recommend him highly enough and would most certainly engage him should I have to in the future.
22nd Dec 2021 (4 years ago)Thanks for your support and help. I am waiting for reply about boiler and windows handle
Hopson Property Services - Southend - on - Sea

29th Aug 2026 (9 weeks ago)I should have written this review a long time ago, but even to this day, thinking about the whole situation still makes me angry. I kept putting off writing this review, but I’ve decided it’s better to say something now than never. My experience with Hopson Property Southend was extremely disappointing. The service was poor, and the manager, Richard, was not helpful when it came to resolving our issue. There were no call-backs, no proper follow-ups, and we were constantly having to chase them for updates. What really frustrated me was how proactive they were when it came to demanding money, yet when it came to actually solving problems, there was very little urgency or cooperation. Despite making numerous attempts to get the matter resolved, nothing was properly sorted and we were ultimately left with no choice but to give up because they simply would not cooperate. This was an extremely frustrating experience, and the way the situation was handled has stayed with me to this day. I would not recommend them based on our experience. I would give it a negative star if there was an option.
16th Jun 2026 (20 weeks ago)Friendly, efficient, and honest to those involved. Straight to the point when question’s asked. Would recommend this Estate Agent.

26th Jul 2026 (14 weeks ago)Excellent and helpful staff who went above and beyond to help when any problems arose
16th Oct 2026 (17 days ago)We engaged Maybury Estates for the sale of our property, on which we just completed! I have to say that the level of service we received from start to finish was absolutely outstanding, and we could not have picked a better agency for our needs.

A very special shoutout to Waqas who, from the very first meeting, immediately understood our circumstances and requirements and was fully committed to fulfil them throughout the process. The deep level of knowledge and expertise he possesses in this field became immediately clear and we were confident in the numerous bits of advice we received during the process and are extremely thankful for it. Honestly, it felt more like dealing with an older brother than an agent. And the rest of the team were always eager to help whenever we reached out to them.

In all, I would highly recommend their services to anyone who is keen to sell their property in the smoothest and most efficient way possible.
23rd Oct 2026 (10 days ago)They have been brilliant, informing us of everything that’s going on. They made me feel like an old friend instead of a client but still keeping the professionalism. Within a week of our open house viewing we are now under offer. So fingers crossed for successful sale. I could go on and on praising these people, the list is endless
22nd Oct 2026 (11 days ago)My experience with Durden & Hunt first started when we meet Rich who's personality was infectious, he said that he would sale our house for the asking price and he deafently did..We was soon introduced to Lilly & Anya who showed perspective buyers our house ,they were very easy to talk to and very professional supplying us with valuable feedback on the viewings. We were then introduced to Amanda the amazing sale progresser who was always in contact, giving us advice ,keeping us upto date and sorting out any outstanding issues. Overall I sincerely reccomend Durden & Hunt Estate Agents in selling or lookjng to buy a property they are Simply the best .
