28th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)Charged far too much for maintenance jobs and then not done properly. Con artists trying always to get your money. Maintenance jobs are made up to make money from you and then use masking tape to fix things. Would not recommend

20th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I wholeheartedly recommend Fine and Country to sell your property. My cottage, whilst beautiful was very niche and took a while to sell in this challenging market. Their marketing was second to none. The photos great and 360 video looked really professional. Clive, Helio and the support team were straight forward to work with and I trusted the advice they offered me. They made me feel I was client. Importantly, I always knew what was happening, they are proactive and genuinely on top of the details. My previous experience with other agents in the Stroud area was disappointing. They all had excellent skills in winning my business but lacked follow through once they had my property to market.

The whole process from start to finish was brilliant, from initial valuation to completion. The whole team were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Excellent service!
29th May 2026 (20 days ago)Had a house on sale through Perry Bishop Nailsworth. The property was on sale for 12 weeks, it did not sell, the photos were very underwhelming. During our 28 day notice period, we had no contact or viewings booked in. And then we had a circa £400 fee to pay for the poor 16 week service which was not well communicated. We also received threatening emails chasing this £400. Would avoid if possible.- 12th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)Jasmine was really friendly & helpful on the phone and knew the property I was viewing well which meant my questions were answered there and then. Would feel very confident in her knowledge if my sale happens and I can go forward with a purchase.
9th Apr 2026 (10 weeks ago)I used Rory from Connells as my mortgage broker. He was friendly, knowledgeable, professional and definitely knows his onions. Throughout the whole process he kept me posted and explained everything I needed to know. He went above and beyond as I'm sure a lot of the times he was calling me were way past his home time. Got my keys today and look forward to renegotiating in five years.
15th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I’ve had a fantastic experience with Allen & Harris in Chipping Sodbury and would particularly like to thank Sarah Cunningham and Jack Casstles for their outstanding support. They both assisted me not only with the sale of my previous property around a year and a half ago, but also more recently with my search for a new home and the mortgage application process. Throughout the entire journey, they have consistently been friendly, approachable and completely trustworthy. What really stood out to me was the level of both professional and emotional support they provided. Moving house can be a stressful experience, but Sarah and Jack were always on hand to offer guidance, reassurance, and clear communication at every stage. Their knowledge and dedication made a real difference and gave me confidence throughout the process. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking to buy, sell, or arrange a mortgage.
