1st May 2019 (7 years ago)After meeting with three agents, De Scottia were the chosen agent for a number of reasons. First being they were not pushing for a hard sale. Secondly, the agent quickly took note of the living situation with my elderly mother and took on board my comments of how fragile she is and to liaise with myself. He was brilliant from the start. Very easy to get hold of, prompt and efficient. He explained everything to us and was more than happy to explain anything we didn't understand without making us feel silly. Our agent was happy to get his hands dirty and move boxes (and a large bed!) to get the photos he needed. When we went on holiday and he needed access he ensured he understood the alarm system and sent me texts whilst away to keep me update and assure me the alarm was put back on. Fantastic service and really pleased we went with them. Our agent gave us honest feedback and we had an offer within 2 weeks. So far the sale is going through smoothly and I would highly recommend.Bismilla Property Ltd

After agreeing to all terms, we proceeded exactly as instructed and even gave notice at our current home because the agency confirmed the deal was final. Then, at the last minute, they flipped the decision without any reasonable explanation. Their lack of responsibility has now left us in an extremely stressful situation. We trusted their word, made major life decisions based on their confirmation, and they showed zero professionalism or accountability. If you value your time, stability, and honest communication, avoid this agency. They made commitments, we acted on them, and they completely backed out—one of the worst experiences I’ve had with a letting agency.

The only contact I had from my agent was to push for the price to be lowered. I decided to list with a dual agent and the property was sold in a few weeks.
