Peter Walker came to visit us and was both professional and extremely knowledgeable on price point, area and buyers. Peter managed to the whole process with his skill and experience. We felt that, as sellers in a tricky market place and with a larger property to sell, we were in safe, capable hands. Many thanks for guiding through this emotionally difficult period and for managing the bidding process together with keeping us informed through the various surveys and enquiries raised. 20th Apr 2023 (3 years ago)I can’t thank the Leese and Nagel team enough, professional from start to finish, kept us updated throughout, their knowledge of the local market is second to none as well as finding us the ideal buyers to suit the house of our late Mother. She would be so happy. Leese and Nagel were honest, reliable and friendly while never letting their professionalism down. The whole team were superb. Thank you Rob, Louis and Catherine who we had personal dealings with but I have no doubt the rest of the team would be the same. Massive thank you from me, my brother and sister.
27th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)I wasn’t even going to bother leaving such a weak establishment a review but further communication with this company has led me to believe I should warn anyone who tries to get involved with this company. Do NOT ever get involved with these incompetent fools, especially the so called ‘property manager’ Riley who is constantly ‘on leave’ and never in the office no matter what time of day you call. When we did receive a reply, we were met with useless responses. One being advising us to put slug pellets on the floor despite us having a young child of whom slug pellets can be fatal to. This company is a disgrace, they choose to represent dishonest landlords who have no problem renting out a flat with a damp and slug infestation problem. We had no hot water for two weeks, a faulty rotting front door that couldn’t be opened on multiple occasions, insufficient waste disposal systems where the landlord didn’t want to pay £25 for a new bin despite rubbish consistently being cast out onto the pavement. We had to threaten to take legal action against the landlord and the estate agents, we were lucky to be able to get out of the tenancy but had to pay £950 for relisting fees! The property was then relet within the week still having the slug and damp problem and they decided to up the rent even higher despite Allen & Harris having all of this information. They are failing their duty of care and obligations. A total shambles of a company with employees lacking brain cells and MORALS. Nearly a year after I have moved out of this property, I have received an email stating how they have received complaints about bin storage and waste being on the street. The same problem we told Allen and Harris about a year ago, that surprise is happening to another tenant. She states in the email how our tenancy will be reviewed etc despite us no longer living there, what a joke of a company who don’t even know who is living where. They represent stingey landlords and are a completely useless agency. Pictures attached to show what a travesty this company are and the reality behind the listings. For a company that is operating within an expensive area, you would expect the service to be on par, perhaps you need to move your base to Easton. Last photo is of the same waste issue happening to a different tenant.
17th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)I sold my house through Connells and had a fabulous experience, in particular Tyler. She went above and beyond with all elements from offer to completion. Can’t recommend her enough!! No question went unanswered and communication was faultless. Would definitely go through Tyler again and recommend her services, very professional.

8th May 2021 (5 years ago)Beware of using Andrew's to buy/sell! Due to the poor standard of service and lack of communication we were not told of 2 unresolved boundary disputes that affected the sale of a property we had made an offer on. This caused a delay of nearly 7 months before we were forced to withdraw from the purchase due to the behaviour of Andrew's staff and management as well as the sellers attitude as they were constantly told it was not an issue by andrews. Andrew's later admitted to being aware of the boundary disputes when the property had been originally listed. You cannot complete and have the deeds transferred to your name or even get a mortgage on a property with unresolved boundary disputes - Andrew's you should know better! Being repeatedly lied to is not an appropriate form of service! We would not have proceeded to order surveys and searches and instruct solicitors had we known when we made our offer. This entire debacle has cost us nearly £1k in fees. We were offered a mere £250 as compensation for 7 wasted months and £1k of wasted money. We were constantly told it was not an issue and it was repeatedly minimised which dragged the process out. Despite making a complaint to management and escalating through the complaints process to head office we have had no appropriate resolution.

25th May 2026 (5 weeks ago)I would like to express my disappointment with the situation regarding the cancellation of our reference by your agency. After Nicola decided to cancel our reference, I was informed that I wouldn't be eligible for a refund of my deposit. The most frustrating part is that she's now disputing this, claiming that we failed the referencing process, despite initially stating that she was cancelling the reference herself. When I pointed out that if she believed we failed referencing, she should refund my money, she became rude and refused, stating she would never give me my money back.
30th May 2026 (28 days ago)Had great house viewings with Tabby, she provided excellent service throughout the process. Had such a positive attitude consistently and was always willing to listen to what I liked and didn’t about a property. Tabby also communicated perfectly the situations of the sellers and we could not have asked for a better experience with our first few viewings ever.

16th Jul 2025 (11 mo. ago)We switched agents to Goodchild after a slow 3 months with another agent. James was confident that he would get our house sold for the full guide price and he delivered. Unfortunately, our sale fell through after a number of months, just before Christmas. We were considering pulling the house from the market but James said he had other buyers and he delivered again. Our house sale completed with the new buyers very quickly and for full guide price. James brings enormous confidence and energy to the sale process. He’s resilient and ultimately delivers on his promises. We really appreciated the approach he took to communicating with us and the support provided by his team. I have already recommended James to neighbours and would trust him again. He’s a great guy who works hard for his clients. Thank you James. J&R.
