15th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)I’ve got to say that this was the most stress free estate agent experience I’ve ever had. Ryan Davies and his team were so attentive and professional every step of the way. A huge thank you also to Sam, who found me a buyer and to Hannah who showed my house several times. Ryan came and listed my property with beautiful photography and amazing drone footage, and he had a professional but friendly manner. Ryan also recommended to me the property that I’ve ended up buying, and Sam showed me round (and was very patient throughout my excitement and exuberance). Ryan also put me in touch with a wonderful solicitor, as well as talked me through the legalities involved, which has completely eradicated the stress and sleepless nights from the process. I cannot recommend Saxons highly enough. They are a fantastic company with a highly competent, friendly, brilliant team.

He’s also genuinely funny and easy to get along with, which makes the whole experience that much better. Couldn’t recommend Tom highly enough! They have a great team there, Kirsty, Richard to mention a few more and always enjoy popping my head in when I walk past.

Stevie geniunely understands the importance of estate agents and conveyancers working trogether as one team. She is proactive, approachable and always on hand to help keep matters moving by assisting in resolving any issues and making sure everyone is kept updates. Having that strong working relationship makes such a difference when it comes to getting transactions through to completion as smoothly as possible.
14th Aug 2026 (6 weeks ago)These were the worst landlords I’ve ever had. They do not care about students at all. We lived in black mould for a year, and were told to just wipe the mouldy paint off the walls which was falling off from damp. My flatmate contracted eczema from the mould, which lead to infection and a cyst which had to be surgically treated (the doctors said it was from mould induced eczema). Emails asking for any repairs were ignored for months. For example broken back door which led to slugs coming into the bedrooms and all over the carpets. They couldn’t even fix a broken fridge handle they just ignored our emails about it the entire year. The following year we moved out and had Bristol student lets which i can’t recommend enough , they were amazing and fixed everything on the same day and actually cared. You’ll notice all the good reviews are from landlords who use robin king, not tenants.

10th Sep 2026 (18 days ago)This is an honest review of what service I received. I spoke to the manager and the level of service I received from Adam was the only reason they didn’t get one star. First of all the original description was very vague and I had to request a more detailed description. The biggest issue I had was I requested only one thing. My indoor cat wasn’t to be let out so I asked that no exterior door be left open for any reason. I have indoor cameras and on two occasions I saw my external door left open with no care at all if my cat escapes. The final straw was on completion day I retained a set of keys just to be safe and when the new owners turned up to receive the keys from the estate agent they didn’t have them and I had to all down to give them my set (which I was keeping until I knew they had a set). Not a great service and I have kept the video of the doors being left open if management claim it didn’t happen.

They were happy to answer questions and kept communication clear. Overall, a pleasant experience with a well-established local property agency.

Matt Lennon at Ocean Estate Agents in Portishead has been exceptional.<br>He is aware of our search criteria and has been incredibly proactive in trying to match us with our needs. He has let us know when houses are coming to market, which we may be interested in, and arranged convenient viewings for us.<br>Matt is very knowledgeable about the areas we are searching in. He is also courteous, professional and polite.<br>Thank you for all your help so far.

They liaised with all parties, ensuring the correct information was with the relevant people quickly and efficiently. Nothing was too much trouble, messages and calls were answered immediately. Feedback, help and guidance was given freely, reducing our anxiety and stress. A massive thank you to the whole team.
