This estate agent is not worth it if you don't put a property up with them they won't bother to put an offer forward for a purchase or help. They so desperate for my property to which I went with the best and made a lot of profit. Improve ur marketing.
The team at Lawrence Rand provided us an excellent service during our house purchase which, due to various issues late in the process, wasn't an easy case. Without Glenda, our Sales Progression Manager's, perseverance and support we would probably still be waiting for completion. I hope she will be there for our next move.
TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! We purchased our house through them in 2015. It all stared well, but as our offer got accepted and moved on to next stage the ordeal began. Our offer was accepted late July, we were told there was no chain and the seller is ready to move out as soon as we can get paperwork done. This turned out be a load of bunk. The seller used to "disappear" for weeks impacting the progress, not responding to queries raised by the solicitors. Paul Ryan who was dealing with the case from Lawrence Rand wasn't very helpful either. During the course he went on leave without giving an hint he was planning to do so. We never got any honest answers as to why the delay despite everything being in order from our side. Phone calls to his office or emails asking for updates rarely got returned unless the email was marked to Peter Lawrence. This was our first home purchase and with so much delay we were not sure what was happening, if there were to be gazumped, whether the deal is going to go through or not, it was very stressful for us. Finally we got the keys towards end of Nov. To our surprise the seller left all his unwanted stuff(mostly rubbish) behind. And he took away some of the fittings/fixtures that he earlier agreed to leave! When we requested Lawrence Rand if they can contact the seller and get the house cleared, all we got was "we will pass the message" and that's it. We never heard anything back. We were never given the contact details of the seller so there was no way possible for us to reach him. We also found out in the week that followed that someone else had signed up for Council Tax payment and another person had signed up for Gas and Electricity for the property. We managed to sort this out ourselves, not not sure how it happened in first place. Had Lawrence Rand been clear with their communication instead of keeping us in dark this experience would have been much better. I guess in a seller driven market, with properties in short supply and high prices, its the buyer which is at the receiving end and the estate agent only cares for the seller from whom ultimately the profits come! And today morning I received a phone call from them asking if I was interested in selling my house due to an increased demand for properties in my area! Good grief!
Excellent team in the Pinner branch. From all the estate agents I approached for a valuation Andrew Pearce's was spot on. They have a very realistic market sense and during the sale proceedings could not have been more helpful and 'on the ball'. Big thank you to Joe and his team! I would use them again any day. Highly recommended.
I am both disappointed and deeply annoyed with how Andrew Pearce has handled sale of Mapesbury, in Northwood. I was quite clearly given direction that 1.7m would be an acceptable offer by ALL trustee's if i was to make my self proceed-able quickly. I had keept you updated at every stage and put my house on the market and got an offer to get my self into ths situation. This is a complete u-turn - which to me seems to suggest that you had not put my intial offer of 1.7m forward to the trustees or consulted them and just simply allowed us to put our house on the market and used us as a porn and lied to us that 1.7m would be proceedable.
You now tell me that the expectation is 1.85m even though all trustees have previously accepted 1.7m or in the region off from two other vendors.
Given that i have continually kept you updated and you have not really bothered updating me or contacting savills to verify my situation suggests to me something untowards is going on.
I also dont belive the vendors have been guided correctly with regards to price and this has in turn set unrealistic exceptions. This was never a 2m plus house. The house is in need of complete gutting out, it has a sloping garden, is on a main road. Only 6 months before coming to market house sold on road for 1.5m simailr size plot but newer larger house for 1.5m. Therefore £1.6m cash offer is a strong figure. At 1.85 I can purchase on Astons Road in Moor Park. I dont belive you will sell for this much unless you can get a multiple housing scheme on it- which from my internal contacts appears highly unlikely.
I will keep a close eye on what this sells for and if it goes for 1.7m or less then i will be putting a strong case together for complaint to property ombudsman. I hope no foul play is being administered here such as retaining / or purposefully deprecating the property for a preferred prospective buyer.
I have rented my property through Coopers several times in the last few years. I have been very happy with the tenants they found me and the service they provide. I usually go through Guido and more recently Ryan. They are both very professional and are always at hand is i need anything. I would not hesitate to recommend Coopers.
My husband and I were extremely happy with the communication and the service we received from Diamanta Price. Our property may have taken longer then we would have liked to sell, but with Coopers persistence it all worked out well. Thank you!
Robsons Pinner recently dealt with my sale and purchase. Nick came to value my property and I found him to be very knowledgeable and professional. The Robsons team had my property sold within two weeks and the level of customer service I received throughout the whole process was brilliant. James was constantly in touch with me about any new properties that met my requirements, and I found that Robsons had the best selection of properties on the market. My overall experience was excellent and I would definitely recommend Robsons for both selling and purchasing a home.
This is the second time i have sold a property through Robsons Pinner. Dan and his team are knowledgeable and efficient. The only reason i have given 4 stars and not 5 is because it took a bit longer than expected to get the sold board up. This is is outsourced to a board company though and not directly down to Robsons, and they did contact the board company to get it sorted asap. I would recommend Robsons to anyone looking to sell their home in Pinner.
Had a good experience with Gibbs and the associates, even though I didn’t buy with them. Jenna and Lucy were really helpful arranging viewings and Accomodating my last minute viewing requests. They both have good sense of customer handling and satisfying customer needs.
If you buying PLEASE AVOID this agency!!! Unfortunately, I feel nothing but anger and extreme disappointment after dealing with them. The agency was still showing the house to others even after our offer was accepted by the seller. Obviously, somebody came up with a higher offer and we lost the house.
I hope my review will be a warning to others that under no circumstances they should be doing business with these people (unless you’ve got plenty of time and cash to waste). In my opinion the agency is a scam – totally dishonest and unreliable. Not recommended.
