7th Jan 2026 (17 weeks ago)WARNING!! Richard murray acted as co executor having written my mothers will. He was not appointed by her but by her named executor. He sided and was partial to one group of beneficiaries over another. He chose the ones nearest the property of most help to him to side with, making his job easier. The family was fractured but he showed no ability to deal with this shutting down and refusing to engage with one side. Preferentially treating the other side. He went back on his legal advice reversing decisions that suited him. Including and implementing wishes he decided my mother made Verbally only to the one side of the family, the side he demonstrated favour with. When ‘wishes’ my mother had made to the other side were brought to him he dismissed them. Biased and unfair and cruel in his handling of the estate. Delaying the inheritance by permitting one beneficiary to live rent free in the property for some fourteen months post my mothers death. Not mentioned in the will, nor discussed. Between himself, his Company or my mother - but on the say so of the side he favoured! The implemented ‘say sos’ were decided without full disclosure or discussion or transparency and he was unaccountable in that He acted like a dictator refusing telephone calls , zoom meetings or email discussions. He dragged out a simple direct will into two years of hell, stress and unnecessary expense because he favoured and decided always in favour of one half of the beneficiaries over the other. Do not write a will with this Company. They have demonstrated they are incapable of writing one correctly , giving proper advice to my Mother , and incapable of implementing it as it’s written in any event. AVOID! It’s 2026 and there are still repercussions from Richard Murray @Connell&Connell’s mis writing and massive failures in executing our Mothers will. Save yourselves a whole lot of unprofessional and uncaring and biased,will handling and don’t use this man.

Although there were Googlemaps issues with my advert, he persevered with having Google fix the problem . His communication is excellent: prompt and courteous. The subcontractors he appoints for photography and home report are top quality. I would not hesitate to use his services again.

From the initial consultation to completion, everything was handled smoothly and with great attention to detail. Communication was excellent at every stage, and they were always available to answer questions and provide clear guidance, which made the whole experience stress-free. Their knowledge of the local market really stood out and gave me confidence that I was in good hands. I would highly recommend Allen and Harris to anyone looking for a reliable and professional estate agent.

24th Feb 2023 (3 years ago)Excellent service throughout, from initial contact to discuss prospects, possible prices and costs, through to finalising the sale of the house. Friendly and professional at every stage with absolutely no pressure applied. Sales materials, from really well-wriiten text to superb videos, including drone footage of the property and surrounds, were outstanding. Good at helping manage the sale, discussing useful changes and following up and reporting back prospective buyer interests and dislikes. I can't imagine the process being handled better. A big thanks to the area director Allan and manager, Seona.
2nd Apr 2026 (5 weeks ago)Andrew and Kai were very unprofessional. Would not recommend using them. Disappointing. Virtual viewing was arranged (which i've had with your company several times before) via Kai, just for Andrew to call and talk me through the pics on the website. He was very rude when I explained that this is not what was requssted even lied to me saying ReMax does not facilitate virtual viewings. Derrick who I have had several actual virtual viewings with has never had an issue. Bad service and rude staff (Kai and Andrew). EDITING WITH A RESPONSE TO BELOW: I called and spoke to kai after the email you mentioned, i made it clear i would need a virtual viewing. He then booked me in for one. Andrew is the one who told me that you do not facilitate virtual viewings and instead would only do the phone call. I was not alone when he was saying this so kindly go through your own recordings and listen for yourself.

Going forward with the house sale, Robert couldn't have been better, keeping me updated throughout the whole process, it was outstanding service and second to none. Thanks to the experience I received from Drummond Miller through Robert, I intend to use them again very soon when I sell my parents' house. Highly recommend without reservation

18th Sep 2025 (7 mo. ago)Great value for money agent - local independent company also! Lots of digital/social media marketing. As an over thinker who doesn’t love the moving process, I felt, at times I had to contact them for an update - but to be fair to them, there wasn’t any updates! In hindsight, I think I was pitched a little too high, my decision! Hindsight is a wonderful thing though - my house sold after 41/2 weeks on the market and happy with the overall process and price.

She definitely got a fail at the school of charm. Maybe Alan Burke might want to have a chat with how she comes across and it’s definitely not professional by any means! Will be doing my business elsewhere!!
