The whole team are absolutely incredible but Jon, the owner, is just an exceptional person. They sold our house quickly at a tough time in the market, showed so much proactivity, care, sensitivity and person centred customer care that is rare in the modern world of real estate. John is one of the most joyful, sincere and personable people I’ve ever come across, and I felt the whole time, completely in the hands of a true professional who exuded humanity and care. I would urge anyone in the area considering listing or buying a house to go with this absolutely outstanding company who have held our hands the whole way through and enabled us to buy our dream house!
4th Dec 2025 (6 mo. ago)Davies & Way have been an absolute pleasure to deal with. The whole team - Steve, Ellen, Polly and Jo - are all super knowledgable, proactive, friendly and understanding. Steve took incredible photos of our home leading to multiple offers in a short period of time. Jo is amazing with viewings - so passionate. Ellen and Polly have just been absolutely fab - thank you for putting up with all my questions!! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Davies & Way - the house we're buying was also through another D&W branch and they were equally great.

1st May 2026 (7 weeks ago)We found Charlotte and her team absolutely brilliant. Totally professional. We are moving to WIltshire from out of area and this adds to the already difficult process of viewing potential houses. However, Charlotte and Olivia went totally out of their way to help us, even coming in on a day off to enable a viewing. Charlotte never had her phone off!! Although we never purchased through Paxtons, I would absolutely not hesitate to either purchase or sell through them. Thank you all very much. Shane and Suzie.
30th Oct 2024 (1 year ago)After many unsuccessful months with another local agent we switched to Greenslade and immediately noticed their determination and efficiency in marketing the property which resulted in a sale after a short period of time.
13th Jun 2026 (4 days ago)From the first meeting it has been a really positive experience. I have been kept informed all the way through by phone and emails. They have worked really hard to sell the property . So pleased I chose them and would recommend.
28th Nov 2022 (3 years ago)Charged far too much for maintenance jobs and then not done properly. Con artists trying always to get your money. Maintenance jobs are made up to make money from you and then use masking tape to fix things. Would not recommend

20th Mar 2026 (13 weeks ago)I wholeheartedly recommend Fine and Country to sell your property. My cottage, whilst beautiful was very niche and took a while to sell in this challenging market. Their marketing was second to none. The photos great and 360 video looked really professional. Clive, Helio and the support team were straight forward to work with and I trusted the advice they offered me. They made me feel I was client. Importantly, I always knew what was happening, they are proactive and genuinely on top of the details. My previous experience with other agents in the Stroud area was disappointing. They all had excellent skills in winning my business but lacked follow through once they had my property to market.

As the house had been in the family for many years and was where myself and my brother grew up, along with my children having spent their childhood here also, it was an especially emotional sale for all of us. Christian made a very difficult time so much easier with his patience, understanding, and support throughout the whole process. He always kept us updated, nothing was ever too much trouble, and we truly felt we could trust him every step of the way. We’re incredibly grateful for everything he did for us and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for an estate agent who genuinely cares.

All members of staff were extremely helpful and quick to deal with any queries we had during the buying process. They offered advice when issues with our conveyancers came up and they were an excellent liaison point between us and the sellers when questions arose. Thoroughly recommend! Our whole process has taken some time, Nick has been very patient with us and has always been happy to help. Even though we didn't end up using Winkworth, Nick was very understanding and wished us luck. Would very recommend Winkworth Mudeford as the whole team were very friendly and always helped when they could.
