11th Oct 2026 (20 days ago)Had a holiday booked for 7 months , to be advised the owner was having renovation works and cancelled our holiday. We got offered a later date but due to the school holidays it wasnt possible.If we wanted to have another property it was at our costs no gesture of good will nothing. We have been customers of John Bray for over 25 years. When we have issued a letter of complaint they again havent had the decency to acknowledge. I/we will certainly never book again with this company. A real shame but clearly they dont have any loyalty for valued customers.

Rachel gave a good impression of how I would be treated so I chose her and was not to be disappointed.<br>Despite being far away from the property she kept me connected and delivered the service I hoped for and more.<br>There were a many bumps in the sale process as I am sure regularly happens. Rachel took them in her stride and gave good professional and honest advice. She pushed hard to complete the sale in all ways she could.<br>Even when I ran into issues with the law firms, she took over and communicated with all parties to get the sale over the line.<br>I am very grateful, and I am certain that I chose the correct agency.<br>I would not hesitate to recommend.

We went through the disappointment of waiting then losing a property and thought we may end up returning to the Midlands. The team in Dartmouth continued to suggest properties which may have worked for us and were always available for 2nd and 3rd viewings, with a smile. We finally found the property that was worth the wait and managed to complete in 7 weeks. The whole Team were really supportive and responsive but a special mention to Oscar & Michele (now retired). Couldn't have got to where we are without you. Big Thankyou

19th Dec 2025 (10 mo. ago)We purchased a property through Lloyds in Lilliput. Julia was amazing. She was incredibly helpful, approachable, understanding, and very professional. Julia even went out of her way so my parents could look around the property prior to our completion to settle their curosity, and she was delightful and patient with my elderly father. She even went out of her way to help us with a legal aspect to speed us up on completion day. Even after we completed she kept in touch and genuinely seems to care about people.

18th Nov 2024 (1 year ago)Excellent communication, attention to detail and don't take on too many clients (unlike some other agents I considered) and so had the time to be thorough and do a great job, going above and beyond what I expected. Jules negotiated an unexpectedly good sale price for my house and, with the additional support of Nicola at the Whitfields office to progress the sale, really helped keep everything on track. Both buyer and seller are treated with respect and honesty and there is regular communication with both parties right through to completion.
