27th Sep 2023 (2 years ago)Cannot recommend Joel and his team in Wells high enough. First class service and customer care. Regular updates on viewings with sound feedback. Once a potential buyer was secured, the team of four monitored the progress of the conveyancing law firms of both the buyer and ourselves, and what a bonus that was when ‘lethargy’ appeared to have ‘rooted’ itself in the process on several occasions. The commission was sensible and they deserved every penny. ????

Everyone at Goadsbys has been so professional, so helpful and so friendly and reassuring. The whole team has acted wisely throughout all the negotiations and guided us through some rough patches. We have been in good and safe hands throughout the marketing and the sale itself and we are delighted to be able to successfully move near our daughter early in the New Year. We could not have been more pleased with the service Goadsbys has given us and we highly recommend them. I shall miss the frequent, friendly contact!

2nd May 2025 (1 year ago)I was very pleased with the service provided by my estate agent. Their local market knowledge was excellent, and the valuation of my property proved to be spot on. The advertising was professional, with great photography and well-handled viewings, helping the sale progress smoothly. I felt the service was good value for money, and overall performance was strong throughout. The only reason I haven’t given five stars across the board is due to occasional delays in communication, though when contact was made, the responses were helpful and professional.

We were a 2 hour drive from Chipping Campden and the local knowledge and expertise of Ellie and the team were a huge help in finding the right house. They know Chipping Campden inside out and could tell us everything about local facilities and services. They were also brilliant in getting the sale through - getting paperwork, chasing solicitors and keeping everything moving. If we were selling (we're not) we would use Peter Clarke.

They were consistently responsive and professional, and it was a pleasure working with them. I also happen to think they do a great job with the photography and details of the listings that they represent, and as someone on the buy-side I can only say that I was impressed by the quality of the listings they represent.

4th Apr 2025 (1 year ago)Absolutely zero communication after expressing interest in a property, despite chasing several times..politely. Thankfully, I wasn't in a rush or desperate unlike most people unfortunately are. Assured I would be called back/contacted, which had been to no avail. Wouldn't approach them again, if god forbid, I did find myself in a desperate situation.
17th May 2026 (30 days ago)I used to be living in a nice apartment coachhouse, during the pandemic, I lost my job and could get the rent from the universal credit, so of course I was evicted. They problem was that I went through a mental health crisis at this time and suffering ever since. When I was away recovering in and out of hospital, I was told all my stuff was put into the garage below and I was being ILLEGALLY EVICTED, the stuff in the garage was their for a few months when me and my parents had to remove all my belongings into another garage I had rented next to and below the house. It remain their untill I could ship it up to their area, where it remained in storage for 4.5 years. I finally got through recovery and was able to deal with my belongings. Now bare in mind it was secure storage. I discovered around £600 pounds later including a broken tv on return to the flat with an eviction notice stuck to the door and the locks changed £100 worth of jewellery and £150 sporting clothes and a pair of designer glasses £150 missing ect with I realised after coming off medication that they had stolen from my property on that occasion of removing my goods during ILLEGAL EVICTION. I contacted the SCOUNDREL in charge of my property and got nothing but contempt. I will now give them 10 days to reply and start liaison with me or ill be filing a small claim to the courts, they now have 5 days left. If NICK JAMES CULLEY employees do this to paying customer or clients think what else they would do. Forget this as a good firm! If they evicted you during NATIONAL HEALTH CRISIS, when I begain a psychotic episode because of being made redundant, how far would they go really!!? JULIAN STOBBS WAS HIS NAME AND HE ADMITTS NO BLAME!

IAN HAS A VAST KNOWLEDGE OF THE CHEPSTOW AREA AND THE LOCAL PROPERTY MARKET AND WE WOULD HAVE NO HESITATION WHATSOEVER IN RECOMMENDING HIS EXPERTISE SHOULD YOU BE CONSIDERING A PROPERTY SALE.
