4th Aug 2026 (10 weeks ago)Used another estate agents in Bicester before using Thomas Merrifield but did'nt feel that they were doing much for us. Changed to Thomas Merrifield and the difference was amazing. John and Sharon who we dealt with the most were great, really knowledgable of the area, the valuation of the house and advising us all the way through the process. Nothing was too much trouble, communication was excellent. Overall, very pleased.
5th Oct 2026 (8 days ago)If you are looking to sell a house in Bicester/surrounding areas, Taylors is the one you've been looking for. We started off trying to sell our house with Purple Bricks and had minimal interest, what a mistake that was!. After the house had been on the market for a couple of months, we decided to move to a "proper" local estate agent. We received a personal recommendation for Taylors, and for Lincoln in particular. The difference between Purple Bricks and Taylors/Lincoln was night and day. Friendly, professional, extremely knowledgeable about the local area and the market, and couldn't have made the process any easier. Within just a few days we had multiple viewings, lots of interest, a few offers, and it only took about a week or so before we had received and accepted an offer above the asking price. Lincoln kept us up to date as things progressed, proactively pushed things along where needed, and got us to contract exchange today. Thanks again to Lincoln personally, and the Bicester branch of Taylors, for an absolutely impeccable service. Cannot recommend highly enough!

6th Aug 2025 (1 year ago)I have just completed on my new property bought through Barton Fleming in Bicester. From the start I was shown the property by Terry, and from there on in dealt mainly with Colin. I couldn't fault them. Any queries I had of which there were a few were sorted and dealt with. I feel I built up a good relationship with them and they went above and beyond to sort out any issues I had. I feel it was nice to work with a local independent company and to support local trade. 5 stars from me all round. Thank you Colin,Terry and your team. Many thanks

Dominic was really great with us as we didn't know the area very well at all. Suzie very helpful when finalising the rental agreement. I would recommend Davis Tate.
4th Oct 2026 (9 days ago)After buying our property through Connells Bicester eight years ago, we recently decided to put it back on the market with them.<br><br>The sales team were absolutely excellent throughout – proactive, professional and always great at communicating. Daniella, who helped us sell our previous house and buy our current one eight years ago, was brilliant once again, as were Lydia and the whole sales team. I genuinely couldn't fault them.<br><br>Unfortunately, the offer we received wasn't quite what we were looking for, largely due to the current market conditions, which are obviously beyond the control of Connells Bicester. We therefore decided to rent the property out instead and chose to use Connells for the letting as well.<br><br>The lettings team have been every bit as good as the sales team. Jasmine has been extremely thorough, explaining the whole letting process clearly and always being available to answer my many questions.<br><br>A special mention also has to go to Chloe, who worked incredibly hard to find us a quality tenant before we relocated. We were working to a fairly tight timescale, and she really pulled it out of the bag for us.<br><br>Overall, I have been extremely happy with our experience with Connells Bicester, both on the sales and lettings sides of the business. After dealing with them both when we bought the property eight years ago and again now, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the team to anyone looking to buy, sell or let a property in the area.

5th Nov 2025 (11 mo. ago)Agents under valued our property- we ended up going elsewhere and managed to get 80K more than this agency wanted to put it onto the market for. To me, the agent didnt really seem to know what they were talking about. Owner seems more interested in opening new shops then helping with current clients and wasnt very attentive whilst showing him around. Would not recommend unfortunately.

We were promised a video viewing of the property by a member of staff, but no one bothered to inform us that it would not be happening until we called ourselves to ask. This caused us a great deal of inconvenience.<br><br>What makes the experience even worse is that they have not come back to us today or even replied to our email. There has been no communication, no apology, and no attempt to resolve the situation.<br><br>Very disappointing experience and extremely unprofessional customer service. I would not recommend them based on our experience.

From the initial valuation, speedy marketing, prompt arrangement of viewings and remarkably quick offer of the asking price, the whole process was swift, professional and efficient. Their marketing is brilliant, local knowledge and experience invaluable and handling of viewings and potential buyers, second to none. 18th Jun 2026 (17 weeks ago)We had a great experience buying our first home in Bicester through Hunters.<br><br>As first-time buyers, we honestly did not know much about the process at the beginning, but Rachel, Jenny and Phil were incredibly helpful throughout. They supported us from the first viewing all the way to completion, and even afterwards with various follow-up matters.<br><br>It was a chain of four parties, but we still managed to complete in around 10 weeks from offer to completion. This would not have been possible without their dedicated help, timely and clear communication, as well as professional support.<br><br>A big thank you to the Hunters Bicester team. Highly recommended!

R & H were brilliant in advising very precisely on price, which they got just right, and explaining the process. Their brochure was good. They sold the property for us pre-auction, at above the reserve. They were professional throughout and what was most important, always kept us in touch.
