14th Jan 2026 (6 mo. ago)Following various conversations with several estate agents we chose Bradleys primarily due to the professional attitude of Rachel Malone, the manager. She assisted with recommendations for portraying our house at its best and we secured a buyer within three weeks . There were communication difficulties within the chain but Rachel’s dogged persistence ensured that the sale completed. I would definitely use Bradleys again and think they provide a superior service.

From start to finish, the team was professional, responsive, and kept us updated throughout the entire process.<br><br>We initially dealt with Paul, who was honest, proactive, and gave us confidence from the very beginning. Once our sale progressed, we were handed over to the Dawlish office, who managed everything efficiently and kept things moving smoothly.<br><br>The whole team was quick to respond to any questions, communicated well, and made what can often be a stressful process much easier. Having viewed many properties beforehand and experienced some more forceful sales approaches from other estate agents, her relaxed and professional manner was a refreshing change during what can often be a stressful process.<br><br>During each viewing, Olivia gave us plenty of time to look around without feeling rushed. She answered all of our questions thoroughly, and if she didn't have the information immediately to hand, she was quick to find out and always responded promptly to emails.<br><br>As the purchase progressed, Olivia kept us informed with regular updates and worked proactively to ensure everything stayed on track, helping us reach an exchange and completion date that suited all parties.<br><br>Thank you to Olivia and the entire Chamberlains Bovey Tracey team for their excellent support throughout our purchase. 24th Jul 2025 (1 year ago)Its a difficult market for selling. Properties are listed in abundance with valuations perhaps starting too high. Buyers are few and far between which meant that we had only 4 viewings over the same number of months. Every viewing is therefore critical and needs your agent to be fully appraised of features and any questions answered. Initial valuations versus actual market sale price need to be considered carefully.

9th Jul 2026 (24 days ago)Average, poor communication, poor picture quality etc, didn’t really push the house via their platforms, wasn’t happy with the write up etc<br>Was told by the manager at the time I couldn’t put my house on for the price I wanted it to be on for…. I’m the customer right, never told on a couple of occasions that the viewing didn’t happen etc<br>Did like Deon the mortgage broker tho he was amazing<br>Went with another independent chain after 3 months and sold within 4 days<br>Would never go with a huge chain like this again

8th Jun 2026 (8 weeks ago)Very disappointing experience with Rendells Lettings in newton abbot.<br><br>We expressed serious interest in a rental property in early May, provided documents immediately, travelled down from Oxfordshire to see if we could view the house, followed up multiple times by email and phone, and even visited the office in person (told them it was an 8 hour drive for us). After which we got not one call or email from the person who runs the lettings dept. Throughout the process we were repeatedly told that the landlord would “come back with further instructions,” but after more than a month we still received no proper update or clear answer.<br><br>And also they told us that they get so many applications they just don’t care and will not respond to anything. They refuse to do online viewings (which all the other agencies are willing to do), don't respond to applications (after you have filled out given them your life on paper basically). Complete limbo.<br><br>Meanwhile, the property remained advertised online the entire time!<br><br>What made the experience frustrating was not necessarily losing out on the property, but the complete lack of communication and basic courtesy. Calls and emails went unanswered, timelines were unclear, and we were left unable to plan our own housing situation despite explaining that notice had to be given on our current tenancy.<br><br>Other agencies we dealt with in Devon were far more professional, responsive, and respectful.<br><br>Unfortunately, based on this experience, I cannot recommend Rendells Lettings, other agencies in Devon are far far better and I can’t recommend them enough, Rendells lettings in newton abbot was in 25 years of renting through agencies the very worst experience i have ever had, take my advice and don’t do it

2nd Jul 2026 (4 weeks ago)My agent is based at the Dawlish branch, Stuart. 99.9% of the time I call Stuart at Dawlish I get diverted to the Teignmouth Branch because Dawlish is too busy. Teignmouth say we will pass on the message and call you back.<br>Do you not understand that someone selling a property probably has a job and are phoning you during a rest break and it IS NOT convenient or possible to take a call when back at work.<br>I WOULD NOT recommend yourselves to any family or friends.<br>Please take note.
