2nd Sep 2026 (15 days ago)We had a negative experience with YourMove Broadstairs, after a drawn out 6 month process to purchase a property on Beacon Road the vendors pulled out on the day of exchange- we later found out this was the second time they had done this.<br>Having been assured at least that the vendors would be blacklisted from using their services again, we now see the same property relisted with them less than 6 months later.<br>Buyer beware.- 21st Aug 2026 (27 days ago)I have just purchased a period property in Ramsgate. Wards Estate Agents were super helpful with great communication and knowledge. Amanda Robinson not stationed in the Ramsgate branch but was excellent and always on hand to assist me. James from the Ramsgate branch was an absolute super star! Very helpful & accommodating, professional with a friendly manner. Especially appreciated as I was locating to a completely new county and area.

They were very keen to get me through the door but appalling at actually having any information as to what they are selling and that's even when they back to you! I was also hung up on when informing them they have wrong details for me... very strange behaviour, you'd think for their reputation of overvaluing they'd at least be keen to communicate with you!<br><br>As someone who quite literally does this as a job aswell i was appalled. The way they treated me differently to my father felt underlyingly sexist.

11th Sep 2026 (6 days ago)As I was going through adverts and I saw Mann lettings contacted them very quickly in regards to one of the lettings in Herne Bay. Spoke to Honey arranged within seconds a quick viewing appointment and from there all the paperwork’s was quick and faster and replied to all the emails very soon. I cannot say more really much appreciated and really happy with service provided by them. Highly recommend Mann Lettings.<br>Thank you..!!!Excited to get the ??????…!!!!- 12th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)1 STAR – VERY DISAPPOINTING CUSTOMER SERVICE<br><br>I contacted Wards Broadstairs regarding a £1,550 per month apartment at Gallery Walk in Margate. I was genuinely interested in the property and simply wanted to ask a few questions before deciding whether to arrange a viewing.<br><br>Unfortunately, the way I was spoken to by the member of staff was extremely rude and unhelpful. I was made to feel as though I was wasting her time simply by asking questions. I was told that I would need to earn approximately £47,000 per year to qualify. I explained that my income is around £45,000 and asked whether there were any alternative options, such as a guarantor, but there seemed to be absolutely no willingness to discuss this.<br><br>I completely understand that letting agents have affordability criteria and checks to follow. That is not my complaint. My complaint is the attitude and lack of basic customer service.<br><br>I am a local resident and a business owner with two businesses in Margate, and I was genuinely looking to rent locally. With rental properties sitting empty because of high asking prices, I would expect an estate agent to at least speak to potential tenants respectfully and professionally.<br><br>A few simple questions should not feel like an interrogation.<br><br>Very disappointing experience with Wards Broadstairs. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because customers should be treated with respect even when they may not immediately meet a particular affordability calculation.

9th Jul 2026 (10 weeks ago)Update-on viewing a different property recently Liam apologised for the missed viewing. He then made himself immediately available to show me the property I wanted to see in Jan 26 and 4 others in the same block even through this was not booked and he was pushed for time. I hope we can both now put this incident behind us and move on.<br><br>I traveled 225 miles to view and Liam didn’t turn up. I called their office, left a voice mail and they didn’t return my call even though the office was open because I passed later in the day and popped in. The lady did apologise but insinuated it was my fault because I booked the viewing approx. 4 weeks earlier. Still no call from Liam to this day.

This agent doesn't have any reviews- 28th Jul 2026 (7 weeks ago)Extremely disappointing experience with Cooke & Co Estate Agents, Broadstairs<br><br>My experience with Cooke & Co Estate Agents in Broadstairs was extremely disappointing. They were instructed to sell our three-bedroom semi-detached house, situated in an exclusive area,of St Peters but unfortunately failed to achieve a sale during the six months the property was on the market with them.<br><br>During this time, we also experienced significant delays and what we considered to be inadequate communication. On two occasions, prospective buyers went through the process without the necessary financial background checks being successfully completed, which resulted in considerable time being wasted.<br><br>Communication was another major issue. On several occasions, it took up to two weeks to receive a response to emails, which was extremely frustrating when trying to progress the sale of our property.<br><br>We also found that other members of the office appeared unable to make decisions without obtaining approval from one person overseeing the process, which, in our experience, contributed to further delays.<br><br>Overall, our experience with Cooke & Co was totally disappointing. We feel that six months were wasted, and the lack of communication, delays, and issues surrounding prospective buyers made the whole process unnecessarily frustrating.<br><br>The Property was listed with Wards of Broadstairs and sold within three weeks.<br><br>Based on our experience, we would not recommend Cooke & Co Estate Agents in Broadstairs to anyone<br><br>Says it all.
14th Aug 2026 (5 weeks ago)I made an enquiry relating to the recent successful sale of my (non UK resident) brother's apartment by MIles & Barr's Birchington Office. It was for Capital Gains Tax purposes, and I was anticipating a laborious process, as with most things these days. My call was taken by Tom, a Senior Branch Manager, who explained what he could do. Within a very short time, he emailed the information requested, in the format required. I was very pleased with this rapid and efficient response for what was a 'non mainstream' question on a very hot August day. He is truly an asset to the business, so helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We have used Miles & Barr for a number of transactions now and they have always been very successful.

10th Feb 2026 (7 mo. ago)I contacted Russell at first on looking at reviews . I had been with other agents for over a year without success . Within a week of signing up with Russell I had 4 viewings , one of which made an offer which resulted in an exchage of contracts in February 2026. It has been a bit of a long route due to my not finding a property but we got there in the end due to great service from Russell himself, Jenny and our progresser Kirsty who was on the case all the time. You will not go wrong with Russell , he is honest, straightforward, always available and goes that extra mile as do all of the team.

I have been trying to get clarity on my bills and help the tenant with an issue brought to me by the agents as urgent, which I did reply straight away and I haven’t heard from them since. I have called all branches in Kent and no one answered the phone. I called my contact’s mobile and no answer and there are no replies to any of my emails. But I do receive a bill monthly and the first two (maybe three) months of rent won’t hit my account as they say it’s to pay for bills but they cannot supply me with a detailed breakdown of their expenditure. Thoroughly disappointing and frustrating. Must do better! I’m a paying client.
