7th May 2026 (6 weeks ago)Have tried to get them to conduct a valuation 4 times, and they have not turned up on 4 separate occasions, leaving me waiting - with no phone call or apology. Very poor.
23rd Mar 2026 (12 weeks ago)I called the agency to ask for advice with a tenant issue I have been having, and they helped me fully with my problem. I asked about the new changes too and they sent me a booklet of everything I needed to be aware of! Such a helpful and lovely team. 5* service and prices are the cheapest in the area, nothing too much trouble. Highly recommend. Thanks to Lisa and the team, would definitely work with them again.

3rd Jun 2026 (15 days ago)We chose John Couch estate agents to sell our flat for us and we're very glad that we did. The attention to detail and high quality service could not have been better. John and Susan Couch and their team are really helpful and friendly with very high professional standards. In particular, the sales progression once we had found a buyer was consistently superb. Their many years of experience was a deciding factor for us in selecting an agent and our decision proved to be the right one. We wholeheartedly recommend them.
29th May 2026 (20 days ago)Avoid at all cost! They wasted months of our time, didn’t manage to secure more than one viewing, not even mentioning actual sale. At the beginning, they made us come to their physical office at multiple occasions to sign documents and provide our ID for ID check. Nothing online, quite an inconvenience. After that they didn’t bother sending us the contract until we asked for it. They kept swapping agents all the time, the communication throughout was very poor and inconsistent. It felt like they acquired our house and expected it to sell itself and they’d just get their fat commission. When we finally got sick of the inactive approach, we filed our notice and the contract was to run out on a certain date - meaning the date was a cutoff for them to have our consent to represent our house and advertise it. The day after the cutoff, the property was still for sale online, meaning our current agent couldn’t post the add with fresh pictures. If I hadn’t kicked off, the house would have still been online, under their agency’s name. I naturally complained and they had to cheek to deny their incompetence throughout the whole process. Now that we have a new agent, it opened our eyes how bad Miller’s service actually was. They priced our property right and within a few hours of the house being online, they managed to secure three viewings already. All the ID checks and agreements are online and fully transparent. They’re extremely proactive and communicate every day, know their clientele very well and are driven to actually complete the purchase. Basically everything Miller’s never did.

20th Jun 2025 (11 mo. ago)We’ve had our two flats in Torquay managed by Henrietta Klimkova at Haart since we relocated to the UAE in 2017. Although we faced some financial challenges along the way, Henrietta consistently delivered excellent support and maintained meticulous records. When the time came to sell in June 2025, her attention to detail and compliance with UK property management standards made the entire process significantly smoother. I’ll admit I used to question the fees—particularly for handling the property tax returns—but in hindsight, it was money well spent. I highly recommend their services, especially if you’re based overseas and need a reliable property manager. Even if it feels costly at first, trust me: when it comes time to sell, you’ll be grateful for the structure, documentation, and peace of mind they provide. Trying to manage it all yourself just to save a small amount isn’t worth the stress.

From initial visit, to the completion, nothing has been too much trouble. Selling a house is never an easy ride, but having these guys behind us has made a huge difference. I certainly have no hesitation in reccomending this company. Thank you

27th Aug 2025 (9 mo. ago)Female answered the phone, advised I would like to view a house, and gave the address asked me the price and I thought it was a certain price but informed me I was wrong and they did not have a house for sale of that price. As I haven't sold my own house I am not allowed to view house for sale. Sounded cross and didn't ask me any details. I have a house in Cornwall with sea views and don't require a mortgage. This estate agency does not appear to want to sell houses
23rd Jan 2022 (4 years ago)Angela was very relaxed through the entire letting process in a refreshing down to earth manner on a unit I rented. Deposit returned in full and on time with no drama. If all agents were like her it would make life much less stressful. 100% recommended.
17th Jul 2025 (11 mo. ago)Contacted Ware to enquire about a purchase. The first point of contact we spoke to couldn’t answer anything about the business we were enquiring about. Signposted us to Jasper who would apparently contact us to answer and discuss questions ( never heard back from him! ).

4th Jun 2026 (14 days ago)Peggs found one viewer for my home in the 14 weeks I was under contract. They only contacted me once in that time after about 6 weeks, to persuade me to drop the price. I never once received any properties from them, being marketed to me for my new requirements, and so it led me to wonder if they relied solely upon RightMove etc for leads. The original proposed price was their suggestion, not mine. Yes, the market has been largely flat for period apartments like mine, but there was nothing that gave confidence in their marketing and this included the very young inappropriately dressed person they sent to accompany my only viewing. It us difficult to recommend Peggs although the lady lister who initially came to my home was pleasant, knowledgeable and gave me hope. I wrongly assumed she might be managing everything to do with getting interest in my home. I don't how some of the questions as the opportunity to test out knowledge and value did not arise.
