After only 2 weeks on the market we secured a chain with four buyers but had a challenge with the start of the chain. This has taken several months and continual chasing by Paul Wallace to secure a success for all. We have finally moved and grateful thanks to all and highly recommend all at Paul Wallace, Hoddesdon.

Even after completion, she continued to support me and helped with sorting out providers and other moving-in matters, which I really appreciated. Buying a home can be stressful, especially when you are new to the process, but Farida made things much easier and was always willing to help. I’m very grateful for her support and would happily recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring estate agent.

I let my property out with them for nearly 5 years, and I'm still waiting in January for the final month's rent to be paid back to me from the tenant leaving in mid-November last year. On top of that the tenant left the flat in a complete state and I'm yet to receive any deposit money back to compensate. Calls/emails to the agency are being ignored.

19th May 2026 (4 weeks ago)I used this company to manage 2 of my properties. The only management was to have the tenants pay into their account, take their cut and transfer to me. After 2 years, I took over the management myself. They then refused to forward the inventory reports, which I had paid them for! Beware!

I found them to be very professional, knowledge and they have me some great tips in order to finally sell my home. Any questions that I had have been promptly dealt with. I was able to move in to my new place reasonably quickly. We had an unusual Grade 2 listed building to sell and we had tried several other agents but nobody matched the amount of viewings that Shepherds provided. Therefore we had confidence that they would eventually get us a sale - and they did! A big thank you to Adam and the team, in particular Nathaniel and Ava - always friendly, courteous and professional. I would definitely recommend Shepherds to give your property the care and attention it needs to get the right people through the door.
