19th Nov 2024 (10 weeks ago)I felt I had to chase the group of people who worked at Lamb & Co - there was not an identified person who I spoke to. They didnt keep me up to date, and when the property didnt sell they suggested I de-list it.

Mike Vincent and sons Estate Agents will do a professional job and keep you updated throughout. They did an amazing job, extremely professional, friendly and genuine. I couldn't be happier with the service I received! I was mainly in contact with David and Ian, but the rest of the team were also superb. Thank you all so much for selling my home so quickly and helping me keep my sanity with such a frustrating sale due to the incompentence and lack of communication from the buyer's solicitor. Just from the initial visit from Matt to value our house I was filled with confidence and knew I didn’t want anyone else to assist with my move and the choice was 100% the right choice. Matt and his team at Peagrams Estate agency provide the highest customer service, going above and beyond expectation and certainly something you rarely receive anywhere anymore. People say moving is one of the most stressful things to do which it is but with Peagrams Estate Agents you are made to feel looked after and confident in that everything is being dealt with at the highest standard without the need for you to even ask or call as you are consistently updated throughout the whole process. Huge thank you to Matt and his team at Peagrams Estate agency for their 5 star service!!

15th Aug 2024 (23 weeks ago)Didn't respond to our emails, allowed us to advertise for six months without telling us we needed an energy certificate which could've resulted in us being fined, took 6 months for our property to be removed from their books despite giving the agreed 14 days notice, didn't tell us the property we had purchased stc had been sold to someone else.

They were beyond understanding and accommodating when things went wrong multiple times and didn't end up getting to view the place before moving in, but I really felt like their work ensured that I wasn't getting any less in terms of service. Thank you especially to Samantha who was so kind and waited for me to get my cat up to Colchester by train after my movers let me down twice. She is such a kind, lovely person to have been in contact with for this, and I wish her all the best!

The whole team at Yaxley's were extremely attentive with ourselves throughout the sales process and took the stress out of our hands, while maintaining high proffessionalsm. With weekly updates, we always knew were we stood. If you are looking to sell your property, I would highly recommend them. After a significant incident at our Bardfield Road house, Connor stepped in and provided unwavering support at every stage. From the moment the issue arose, he was proactive in addressing our concerns. He arranged for multiple plumbing companies to tackle the extreme hot water problem, ensuring it was resolved quickly and efficiently. What impressed me the most was his dedication to finding alternative housing for us during this challenging time. Connor's commitment went above and beyond. He was always available to answer our questions, whether it was day or night, and even while he was on holiday. His responsiveness and genuine care made a stressful situation much more manageable. In a world where customer service can sometimes fall short, Connor truly stands out as a remarkable professional. I was kept well informed during the sale and their confident approach was very reassuring. Blake and Thickbroom are an Estate Agent that you can trust.
18th Mar 2024 (10 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!
