6th Feb 2026 (6 weeks ago)As many companies transition to automated and AI driven customer service models it is wonderful to find a business that still operates through direct personal contact, understanding its customer's needs and going above and beyond to meet these. From initial consultation, through to celebratory completion phone calls Camilla Smith managed my sale in exemplary fashion. Despite many difficult issues arising in the inevitable chain of sales downstream Camilla was able to offer pragmatic solutions, broker agreements and actions, and most importantly take the lead in chasing and following up both solicitors and agents down the line. Without this level of engagement I am certain the deal would have collapsed. Outstanding in every way, I cannot recommend Peter Clarke and especially Camilla enough.

I have been using Paynes for over 15years who look after all my rented properties. And I have never had a reason to change . Thank you so much to everyone at Paynes.
13th Jan 2026 (10 weeks ago)I will give 0 star if it was available. Leaders behaviour towards deposit refund is laced with all kind of negative experience, from untrustworthy to unreliable and then to lies and unethical practices. I have been following up for almost 4 months now for my deposit and it’s met with too many back and forth. I don’t understand why it’s taking so long to refund a deposit after how many months of leaving the property. The worst case scenario is the audacity to archive the Tenancy Deposit portal and update this payment has been made whereas they are yet to make this payment. This is a very poor practice and unfortunately I have lost all trust with Leaders Letting and Estate Agents. I wouldn’t advise anyone to do business with Leaders as they will be frustrated when it comes with customer service satisfaction and their dealings with financial transactions as they have no business integrity or whatsoever. This is still an ongoing issue with Leaders Letting and Estate Agents as they are yet to refund my Deposit.
6th Mar 2026 (17 days ago)We sold our house through Fine & Country. Liz Teasdale and Nicola Lorraine held our hands every step of the way. They promptly answered any queries we had, were reassuring when the process was at its most pedantic and calmed us down when we were stressed. From the superb photos taken at the start, all the way through the whole process Nicola and Liz were professional and attentive and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They might be slightly more expensive than other Estate Agents but they were worth every penny. So glad we used Liz and Nicola.

18th Mar 2026 (5 days ago)We tried to rent a house together as brothers, and despite making it clear we are family — not unrelated sharers — the letting agent refused to take our details or consider us as joint tenants, saying they don’t allow sharers. It’s misleading and unprofessional to treat two siblings as “sharers” when UK housing definitions generally consider family members living together as one household. This left us confused and unable to progress our rental search. The agent gave no clear, lawful reason — just repeated refusal to engage properly. If you’re a family looking for a place together, be aware that this agency may misapply its own policies and potentially misinterpret basic housing law. I do not recommend them based on this experience.

From the start, with all the things that are involved in taking on a property and any maintenance that needs to be done, it has all gone very smoothly and the reason for that is great communication, it's really appreciated.
