The whole team were very helpful and enthusiastic, especially the branch manager who you could tell had a wealth of experience, and really made me feel more comfortable. This is a big move for my family and we’re looking forward to viewing properties with Ian and the team soon.

30th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)After nearly two years on the market, with a lot of viewings but no serious interest, we placed our property with Sheldon Bosley Knight and had a buyer within a matter of weeks. The property has now sold and completed and we could not be happier.

1st Jul 2026 (28 days ago)I have a ongoing issues with my tenancy. Most of the Maintenance is not being carried out. When it is carried out, the standard is so poor that it's led to more problems for them to fix. Theres mould in the house. The gas safety hasn't been done. Repairs have left it a health a safety risk to children. I need evidence from them for my benefits but they have not responded so I am now at risk of losing my house because of the landlord. I have tried ringing various numbers, leaving voicemails, emails, letters posted to them, even my lawyer cannot get a response. They simply do not care. Would not recommend but alas I do think this is a common problem with landlords on the whole anyway.

Best of all they kept us updated as to progress of sale, sometimes more so than the lawyers. Preston and Sinead very approachable and professional, would not hesitate to recommend.

17th Jul 2026 (12 days ago)I had a very disappointing experience with this agency.<br><br>I travelled all the way from London to view a property in Leek, at significant personal expense. Due to transport disruptions, I kept the agency updated throughout the day and, after a lot of pleading, they kindly agreed to a slightly later viewing, which I appreciated.<br><br>However, after viewing the property, I completed my application promptly. I then had to chase the agency multiple times for an update. Instead of keeping me informed, I eventually found out the property had already been let. This was extremely frustrating after the amount of time, effort and money I had invested.<br><br>I was then asked to provide my requirements for future properties, which I did immediately, but I received no further communication.<br><br>My biggest disappointment wasn’t losing the property it was the lack of communication. If applicants are expected to respond quickly, agencies should also keep applicants updated in a timely and professional manner.<br><br>I hope they improve their communication with future prospective tenants.

Sophie went above and beyond to negotiate the best terms for me and all parties including landlord were happy to exchange. I was also in contact with Joe who assisted with all my enquiries. Very seamless experience that only took 3 weeks from the first viewing.
29th May 2026 (9 weeks ago)Claire, Claire, Claire… what can we say? Claire Midgley was our rock throughout a very long and difficult conveyancing process. Working in the industry myself, I can certainly recognise a special agent when I see one and she certainly is a true credit to Dourish & Day. She listened to me rant (probably like a broken record at times) , offered advice and promised me she would chase and subsequently update me… and true to her word she was every single time!! To get the good news call from her personally today was the icing on the cake for me & my partner. Thank you so much Claire for all your help throughout, we appreciate you hugely ??????
11th Feb 2026 (24 weeks ago)Absolutely shocking service. Ringing multiple trying to get answers, so many times the phone cuts off without answering. Emailing countless times without any aknowledgment. Leaving a young female Tennant with mental health in need of resolutions for the flat & causing health deterioration due to no heating in property since when we had snow this year. WiFi being down for weeks. Draft through bedroom window. Paying rent for a service not provided. She even travelled from Dudley to the Smethwick office to seek answers, to which they still haven't resolved. Much better when landlord managed his own property. I don't know how they've won awards if this is the service they provide to the masses.
