1st Aug 2024 (2 years ago)As a prospective buyer, I have found the staff at HPS to be extremely helpful. In my opinion they are managing their sales in a timely manner from the point of the For Sale board being erected to then being able to view a property straight away, there was no delay between the point of it being advertised ...with the board and internet. In my opinion this demonstrates their efficiency and is the reason why I would recommend them.

It has been an emotional process with many ups and downs, and both my husband and I are truly grateful to Joeanne and Kerry for staying alongside us throughout. Their patience, understanding, and steady support meant a great deal during what was sometimes a stressful and uncertain time. Joeanne, in particular, was incredibly kind, reassuring, and encouraging when we needed it most. We deeply appreciate their professionalism, persistence, and genuine care in helping us reach this important milestone. I have also been informed they have difficulty retaining staff!!!!! Previously had first class service.

4th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)From Valuation onwards through marketing and liaison with the Sales team, the performance of the agent was exceptional. The customer service was efficient warm and friendly with attention to detail and the personal touch made it a delight using them, I got a great service and they travelled to Hunmanby from Scarborough to do the valuations, they were always there early so as not to keep the viewers waiting, whereas in my experience with some other local agents this is not a consideration. During the stressful conveyancing process with Solicitors between Exchange and Completion Tracey and her colleagues gave a massive amount of support and as I have moved numerous times over the years, I can tell you Colin Ellis are the best in North Yorkshire, also their fees too are highly competitive which helps tremendously especially when moving home. You won't be disappointed go with the best believe me my review can be verified and trusted. Many thanks Colin Ellis from Jane Hall, recently sold bungalow in Hunmanby near Filey Last week
27th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)We have just sold through Lovelle and the service has been first class. They actively market properties to their customer base and beyond, they give good advice on making the property more saleable, and they chase offers and sales to ensure they are moving along (Pearl is very good at the latter). We had excellent service from Lee, above and beyond what I expected and what I've experienced previously either in East Yorkshire or elsewhere. Highly recommended.
24th May 2026 (16 weeks ago)Had an absolutely awful time attempting to get a flat with these agents. We had to constantly call and ask them to actually do the job they said they were going to. Only to then find out they'd given another applicant the property without even telling us because they had "better references". The issue being they never completed our references or actually looked at our documents?? No reason given by the agents of why they never completed our references, they honestly sounded like they couldn't be bothered. Wasted a week of our time when we need to be moving soon, will never be looking at a property through this estate agents ever again.

George and Helen worked hard from the start to market my house, in fact they had it sold within the first couple of days!
