21st Aug 2024 (2 years ago)The house we are selling was bought through Whitegates Cleckheaton and had found them very helpful , so when we put it up for sale we went back to the them. After 10 months and a variety of "problems" [being asked to conduct viewing ourselves, not getting constructive feedback etc] we reluctantly cancelled with them .
13th Sep 2025 (1 year ago)The only element of concern was the property was valued too high and I had to reduce on a couple of occasions and then accepted an offer lower than the reduction.

Oliver and the team went the extra mile and even showed me a property on a Sunday as I work full time a weekends just so I didn’t miss out! I spent 5 very happy years in a home in York thanks to Stephensons would recommend them to anyone first time every time ??????

2nd Sep 2025 (1 year ago)I do feel that they need to have social media platforms to promote properties like most agents do. Also there is no shop to go in or for them to advertise the brochure etc. there way of working g may work for some for houses that will sell quickly but not for me.

23rd Jul 2024 (2 years ago)Knowledgeable estate agent with good understanding of local market. Valuation was spot on with offer received within 2 days. Advertising material was very good. Communication with staff members was good. Estate Agent did not always provide updates via Property Portal thus requiring chaser phone calls that could have been avoided. Fair value for money as prooerty sold so quickly and they had little work to do. Even had to conduct our own viewings as staff not available at appointment times.

Each member of the team went over and above to ensure my purchase was seamless, and kept me informed at every stage. They were professional, courteous and made my first house purchase memorable for all the right reasons. Can't thank them enough!

10th Apr 2026 (22 weeks ago)Had an offer accepted for a flat, sent all required paperwork. Went on holiday to USA and carried on responding to emails, arrive home and they've sold the flat to someone else. I'd even instructed th solicitor they recommended to represent me. Very very dissapointing beaware of this of looking for property in Whitby.

Damaged kitchen surfaces, ripped kitchen floor,<br>A hook sticker put on my new composite front door<br>unsolicited DIY.. not noticed or highlighted to me.<br>Garden newly laid lawn and fencing left with broken door and looks a mess. Walls newly decorated a mess. New carpets brown. They were originally dark grey.<br>The next tenant would have moved in and I would be none the wiser<br>I’m with drawing all my rentals from this company. I have 3 properties with this company.<br>I would score no stars if google allowed.

Throughly recommended them Thanks

He handled the sale of my house with a really high level of professionalism, I’d previously used a more traditional estate agent as I hadn’t come across EweMove, the contrast was night and day and Paul made the selling experience enjoyable.<br><br>Paul was knowledgeable, approachable and kept everything moving when it could easily have become stressful. I really appreciated his patience, communication and the way he conducted himself throughout the process.<br><br>A genuinely excellent estate agent and a real credit to the team. Thank you, Paul!
