We originally had a valuation booked for last Friday. My partner had specifically kept his day free, made no other plans and stayed at home to accommodate the appointment. The estate agent then rang us several minutes after he was supposed to arrive to inform us that he wouldn’t be coming. No reasonable notice whatsoever.<br><br>Although very frustrating, we gave them the benefit of the doubt and rearranged the valuation for today.<br><br>Unbelievably, the exact same thing has happened AGAIN.<br><br>Having already been let down once, we actually went out of our way to ring the office at around 2pm today to confirm that the valuation would definitely be going ahead & nobody answered the phone. We then received a call back at 3:57pm, when the appointment was booked for 4pm, informing us that the estate agent would not be attending because he was in Hartlepool?!<br><br>What I find particularly unacceptable is that, had we not contacted the office ourselves, I genuinely question whether anybody would have bothered to inform us at all.<br><br>I would like to acknowledge that the lady we spoke to on the telephone was apologetic, and we do appreciate that. We also understand that the valuations are not booked directly through the company itself. However, regardless of how the appointments are arranged, the experience ultimately reflects on the business and the service being provided.<br><br>We certainly won’t be trusting this company with the sale of our home....
