He's a really polite, efficient professional guy who made the whole process straight forward - nothing was too much trouble, always available to answer questions and put in a "big shift" to keep the sale moving forward at a decent pace - thanks Terry - great work! I don't normally do reviews but I do feel let down by Chancellors. We decided to terminate the contract we had signed within the 14 day cooling off period as we were not quite ready to go on the market and was forced to pay £216 of costs. When signing the contract we were told there was a 14 day cooling off period so I was happy to sign the contract there and then. We realised afterwards that the valuation we had been given was probably unrealistic and too high (we probably got excited by this which is why we were keen to sign) and felt it was not dealt with very well. It felt like the valuation was based on what we wanted to hear not what was realistic in order to sell the property within a few months. After 7 days we were told if we did not pay they would get the debt collectors involved! It is frustrating as we probably would have gone with them when we were ready but instead very upset by how we felt we had been treated.

Both my husband & I found Allan, the lettings manager to be extremely helpful and full of knowledge. Unfortunately they did not have a property suitable for me but Allan had no problems with discussing my requirements & provide some tips to help find what I am looking for.
We highly recommend Allan, he is a credit to your company.

We have had mixed experiences with estate agents over the years. Demi at Maidenhead’s chancellors has been a breath of fresh air. We have dealt with Demi all the way through the process from valuation to sell.

Demi has always gone the extra mile. Problems early on where taken on personally and has always made herself available including a day off at a crucial time of the process.

We highly recommend Demi and the Maidenhead branch.
