Great experience from start to finish with a very effective and on the pulse agent Gavin B who kept the lines of communications open during the whole process.
Hunters agent had a few properties that matched my wishlist as far as location, newly designed and renovated spaces, finances and more.
Once I found the right fit and produced all the documents for the credit and reference checks, the turnaround was quite fast.

I had a very disappointing experience with Hunters West Hampstead Estate Agency. The agent failed to show up for a scheduled viewing, leaving me waiting for over half an hour. Despite calling their office twice to check on the agent’s whereabouts, there was no punctuality or communication from their side. This level of unprofessionalism and disregard for clients' time is unacceptable. I would not recommend their services to anyone.

Huge shout out to Gabe! He delivered fully as promised. We had our property on the market for sometime with another agent and had been messed around with a buyer who withdrew at the last minute.
I spoke with Gabe who said that he would jump straight on it and he did. He arranged to have the property photographed within days and found a buyer the following week. Gabe fully qualified the buyer to make sure there was no time wasted. He progressed the sale effectively and kept me updated at all times.

Gabe John, is hands down the best Estate Agent I have come across, nothing was too big or too small for him to deal with. From the moment we met he was constantly in contact with me, giving me guidance and reassurance. On top of it he sold my property within one weekend (a Saturday) of viewings! My house was on the market for three days at that point. If you want your house sold by a friendly EA who gets the job done look no further than Gabe. I was looking for a rental in London and had very specific requirements. Mike Masilsz was my point of contact and he was brilliant. He listened, understood what was important to me and showed me a few options that were within my budget. He thought longer term too, not just focusing on the inventory available at that time, but also the inventory coming on the market. I don’t think anyone deserves to feel disrespected in a place they would like to call their future home.
Awful. Whilst I do think Hunters as a whole is a great agency, I had what can only be described as an awful and unprofessional experience with lettings agent Richardo. His standoff-ish and unfriendly attitude made myself and my partner extremely uncomfortable.
Prior to my first and only viewing with Richardo, he would call my phone too frequently to ask about my home search. I am not desperate and will reach out when I need support, as I have done. Chestertons, Foxtons, Dexters, etc. have never done anything so pervasive. It had gotten to the point where I saved his contact info just so I could prepare myself and possibly avoid his calls.
On the day of the viewing, I was 20 minutes late and let him know I was stuck in traffic on Edgware Road (if you know London you know the traffic can be bad in the Kilburn/Brondesbury area). He had informed me that he’d need to leave within ten minutes of my eta. When myself and my partner arrived, he flagged us down to where he was standing by the building entrance. We followed him into the lift where he did not say a word. He did not introduce himself, he did not even describe a single aspect of the flat we came to view or the building amenities. He simply stood silently in the corner. I asked whether there was an outdoor light, but I doubt he even heard my question.

Wanted to say Big Thanks to Joshua for being professional and a hard working individual. Unlike other estate agents, Josh would always respond to my emails very fast ( no matter how late I email) and would arrange viewings at short notice. Hunters Estate & Letting Agents at West Hampstead were very unprofessional throughout our whole tenancy period (almost for two years). There were so many instances for an inappropriate behaviour mentioning as an example allowing access to our property to a third person without our prior notification and consent or trying to change our moving out date at last minute claiming that there was an error in their system. Contact with them was always hard and unpredictable and I would definitely not recommend this agency to anyone living in West Hampstead area.

Jaison and Josh at Hunters did an excellent job selling our flat for us. We were with a big national company for months and they brought a parade of people through our flat, working on volumes, but not bothering to even ask any questions about the place and always giving us generic feedback. Before showing the place, Josh took his time to take notes about every idiosyncratic question that could arise during a viewing. They found a match in days after listing (Hunters photos were also great). The person who bought the place was genuinely interested and even our former neighbours are happy that Hunters found the right person to buy the flat.

We picked this agency to sell our apartment. During our interaction with the real estate company, we encountered unprofessional conduct from a senior agent. We faced difficulties with the agent's staff, who lacked basic knowledge about our apartment's location within the complex and failed to perform simple tasks such as opening doors. I had requested an agent to visit my flat ahead of the viewing, but unfortunately, the individual arrived at the incorrect building.
When we reported different concerns , we received dismissive, and discourteous responses over the phone. Moreover, during the exchange process, when there were delays, our agent did not take any measures to resolve the situation. It was also concerning that our agent did not have up-to-date information about the exchange and was the last to find out, which is not an acceptable situation.
Based on our negative and stressful experience with the real estate company, I do not recommend it to others wishing to sell their property. We were fortunate to be involved in a chain and had another estate agent who provided the necessary support and effectively communicated with all parties involved.
Finally, I urge the managers of this company to investigate the conduct of their employees, especially the agents who represent their brand. By doing so, they can improve their services, ensure their clients receive the support they deserve and avoid any negative experiences.

Hunters West Hampstead are appalling. Avoid at all costs.
Having initially indicated that they'd return my fees to me, Hunters then changed their minds and are now refusing to refund the fees. When I queried this, they failed to demonstrate that their own contract allows them to keep the disputed fees.
They have regularly failed to return my calls, answer my emails or even follow their own complaints procedure.
When they do answer emails, their replies are often incomprehensible due to poor grammer and incompetent drafting.
If you run into any kind of a dispute with them then you're in for a nasty shock, as neither the people in the office nor the franchise owners seem able to deal with complaints in a timely, professional manner.
Their response to my complaint (see below) is typical of the way they do business.
In line with the Ombudsman's Code of Practice, I wrote to Shahdot Miah and a number of his colleagues at Hunters, asking them for a final response to the various issues that I raised regarding the fees they are withholding.
The Ombudsman's Code of Practice (which Hunters claim to follow) states that complainants should have their complaints addressed within a mandated timeframe and that Hunters are obligated to respond to a request for a final response.
I wrote, asking for a final response from Hunters on 27/09/22. Almost a month later, I have yet to receive any response from Hunters. This is why I'm proceeding with taking my complaint directly to the Ombudsman.
If Hunters did actually follow the procedures that they claim to adhere to, then they would have responded to my request for a final response a long time ago...

Shambles. Turned up to the property and couldn’t get in. Had no keys and faffed about for 15 minutes. Finally got entry into the flat, and was taken to the wrong one in the building. Garden flat that we required had already been rented and tried to show us another in the building. Then disputed that this was the one we asked to view! Go elsewhere!

This is a shout-out to Chelsea Hare! She's been fantastic, after a shaky start with Hunters West Hampstead. Long story short, I had to ask for the original Negotiator to be removed from my case as I refused to deal with him any more. Thank God I got Chelsea instead. She's been patient, sympathetic, and very efficient in negotiating my Tenancy, under quite stressful circumstances. She gives immediate concise responses to my emails, & is very clear and on the ball about the process, and always polite to boot. Chelsea is a credit to Hunters - they should recruit more like her!
If it was just down to my experience with her, I would have given 5 stars. But I had to give 3 due to the initial debacle. Not her fault!

They acted as if we had lied about scheduling a viewing in the first place, essentially told my partner that they didn't want to show us the flat because the move in date is July and it is now May! We have been living in London for over 8 years and only rented 2 properties with private landlords, so this was our first experience to renting with an agency.
Because of very noisy neighbours we decided we had to move as soon as possible. We started the viewing process which can be quite stressful especially when you have a pet and your options can shrink significantly.

Try to avoid Hunters!!
When we first moved in to the new flat, they didn't manage the process well:
- Our Initial offer got accepted by the landlord, but when we got the keys and went to the flat, we realised that everything( furniture) we asked for in the offer wasn't in the flat. Apparently Hunters didn't discuss it with the lanlord, therefore they gave £150 to cover at least the chest of drawers we needed and also, to cover the wardrobe rail they broke when moving the wardrobe ( which it was something we put in the offer, but didn't do until we kept chasing them for it)
- Check out inventory - not being very clear in the contract and 3 days in advance of the moving date of the new tenants, we have beeing asked to pay £170(+VAT) for the check-out inventory. Hunters didn't give us any other choise. But we checked the company Hunters use for this service, and of course, the price is £110( including VAT), where is the difference on the prices? In Hunter's profit!
- Cleaning fee for the reasonable price of £165! When the first time we moved in, the flat was that dirty that it was even mentioned in the check-in inventory. The bathrooms where brand new and of course, were plenty of dust. Definitely the flat is in better conditions since we fixed few things. Now they are asking us to pay £165.
We are still waiting a reply on this from Hunters but we have decided that after how things are being handled, we will report it - we rather spend more money on lawyers but to make sure Hunters learns the lesson of not taking advantage of customers.

I have met one of the agents Cemal, who was very kind, generous, and helpful while I was signing the contract with the flat. When I had the issue with the entrance key and I got locked inside, Cemal came right a way to help me to open the door. I really appriciated him as I was a little panic at that time. Utter disgrace as an organisation. It is a shambles how they even operate. Back office systems and payment processes are beyond poor. Almost 2 years since having a contract with them we are receiving requests for payments for rent in the thousands. You cannot speak to anyone and no one calls you back. If you do happen to get someone on the phone they have so much attitude and are so rude, I would never rent my property through them EVER. They are also in breach of GDPR as they are contacting us unsolicited via email.

These people at hunters are THE MOST UNTRUSTWORTHY people we have come across in my life. They gave my wife and me false promises to the tenant such as the wire work will be corrected, the corridor will be cleaned, the broken tap will be repaired …. They are just there to RIP you for their benefit and their landlord with ALL THE DIRTY TRICKS that they are good at.
They were managing a property that I rented and that was awful, when we called them we always ended up in “various” random “rude and careless” staff that say “ I do not know, I let SOMEONE know”, when you are shivering with broken boiler etc. BUT THEY NEVER GET BACK TO YOU.
They said the landlord was a “nice” person, who was a stingy person every 3 months was checking on us and commenting on everything except the functionality of flat,.. NO PRIVACY
BEWARE MANY POSETIVE REVIEWS MUST BE FALSE , MADE BY THE HUNTERS, “look” at the reviewers they are NOT genuinely existing , their accounts show that have not reviewed anything else … My family have EXPERIENCED them, more than 90% of them are “counterfeit” by the Hunters,.. These are one of the small offices on that street and they have SIGNIFICANTLY DISPROPORTINATELY high rates compared to large reputable branches next to them, its impossible..
SOME ONE MUST SUE THEM sooner or later ….
If things did not work for you , you know whom to blame. BEWARE you sign that contract there is NO way back you are in the trap by the Hunter sharks.

Avoid - these guys were a disaster throughout.
My main complaint is that they bungled the negotiation with the landlord. We had agreed that council tax would be paid by the landlord, and this was in the original contract that they sent us. Then they sent a second contract, which in hindsight I should have reviewed thoroughly, but didn't as I trusted them to do their job. Long story short, they would not take responsibility and the charges landed on us.
There were a number of other things that just smacked of amateur hour: Joshua forgot to drop off our keys on time, then acted like he was doing a great favour for bringing them in next morning; they had no idea where any of the supplies in the flat were and would not give direct contact to the landlord.

As a commercial company we have been using Hunters for many years in renting out our portfolio of properties.
We can certainly be quite demanding with our requirements so the fact we have continuously used Hunters when many agents have tried to win our business such as short term undercutting rates, speaks volumes.
Whilst I have mainly dealt with Chelsea, Gideon and Kasim at Hunters West Hampstead branch and have found them to be highly professional, engaging and quick to respond to any question, other staff I have dealt with have also been excellent.
I cannot recommend Hunters highly enough.

I recently rented my one bed apartment in West Hampstead through Hunters. Due to my work I have to undertake protracted periods away from London and have rented before privately and also through the well known other agency in West Hampstead. In comparison Hunters were very professional responsive in letting and for that reason I chose to take advantage of their offer to manage the property. I also felt that they understood where I was coming from and there was no feel of being on an impersonal conveyor belt for their benefit which has been my experience with other agents. Although the area is always a hot market for rentals they rented within 48 hours, which was prettty impressive even in this market. This time around it has been relatively hassle free. They do seem to have had quite a rapid throughput of staff of late but their manager was in touch personally and this gave me some reassurance that my buisness would not be affected. It is a definate "Yes" from me.

Very unprofessional: first not very friendly on the phone while booking the appointment, I asked to get a confirmation by sms on the day but they said it wasn't necessary, the appointment was confirmed .. finally, they didn't show up and when I called they apologised telling me that the owner withdrew the property from the market a couple of hours before and the agent FORGOT to let me know ... for an emergency or something similar I would have understood but forgetting to tell a client that an appointment is cancelled is unbelievable and unforgivable. Not a way to do business.

I was very surprised by the service I received. Been dealing with agents for the last 5 years, and I have never had a good experience. Agents used to promise and never delivered. Mantas from Hunters completely changed my view of estate agencies.
He told me straight away that he works differently from all other agents. Instead of spending hours with me on a viewing, we spoke over the phone for about 15 min, he asked relevant questions, and he understood everything I wanted to have. Rang me after 1 hour and said “I have it”, then again I thought “ The Estate Agent is going to invite me for something with my budget, but nothing close to what I am looking for. Surprise 100% match, everything I asked for and not a waste of my time. Paper work and all reference process went very smoothly. I would definitely recommend Hunters West Hampstead Mantas and Chelsea.

Hunters West Hampstead were fantastic with our house sale. We dealt with three negotiators, who were all excellent in their own way.
First we dealt with Michael Posner, who valued the property and arranged viewings. Michael (unlike other agents we'd used previously) was able to identify some really positive features of the flat and seemed to believe in it as a product. He managed to achieve a price 80K above our previous offer!
Secondly we dealt with Gideon Gold, who knows this market inside out and as such was able to give us very sound advice about the price we should accept for the property. He was also extremely helpful in the latter stages of the sale when we were concerned the property might be selling for less than its worth as a result of the housing boom. He took the time to help us see the positives and negatives of a price change would be, so we could decide what to do.
Last,(but by no means least!), we dealt with Adam Arnold. Adam's determination and perseverance in acquiring the last legal document, (without which the sale couldn't have gone through), was very impressive. He also then- at the 11th hour managed to get the buyer to change the contract slightly, so that the sale could exchange on that day.
All three negotiators were fantastic and we would thoroughly recommend them to anyone buying or selling a property. Thank you Hunters!

Armun Peeroozee & Daniel Sugarman dealt with finding me a suitable Tenant, I went with another Agency before, but they couldn't find me a suitable Tenant. These guys found one within 48hrs of the property being advertised with them.
Thoroughly Professional & Efficient Service. So far my Experience with them has been without issues. Tenant has moved in. References & Inventory carried out on time.
Daniel even helped me move some furniture that the Tenant did not want!!!
