Ivan and Dean were excellent. Couldn't ask for more from an estate agent (from a seller's perspective). Went above and beyond all expectations to ensure a difficult sale went through in a timely fashion. Their professionalism and attention to detail were clearly evident in every aspect of the transaction. The two standout qualities of the pair was: - their proactive temperament during the conveyancing process - preventing any potential issues from escalating, chasing any/all parties during lulls, ensuring no aspect of the process was unnecessarily delayed. If they say something will be done from their side, it will be done. - Communication - phone calls would always be picked up, emails would always be answered. Throughout the process, I was consistently kept informed with regular updates, feedback, and detailed explanations of each step. I was expecting more of Foxtons Finchley given the reviews honestly. I gave them 3 requirements- 2 double bed, under 2000 pounds, ~30 mins public commute to school. I was happy that they had planned to show me multiple properties in one visit, as I was traveling 1.5 hour to see them. I was shown 2 properties- a) 2000 rent, 1 double and one single bed, 45+ mins commute and b) 2300 rent, 2 double (but one barely 9*9), 1hr+ commute. Meaning, both properties did not satisfy 2 of the 3 criteria given. Was a disappointment to travel this much to be shown what does not match the criteria given. It's not the fault of the agent. She was very nice, took me around. But the pressure shows. She has no time between visits, so of course I imagine she does not have time to open google maps and see how much my commute would be, or to look at her notes and see my criteria carefully. Foxtons, you have great people. Just give them some time to be prepared better.... Read more

Do NOT use this agency. They are completely unprofessional and have no clue what they are doing! They made an appointment for me for a Tuesday. I got a text on Monday saying the appointment was on Monday at 4pm! . So I called up to confirm the date and time they confirm the appointment is for Monday not Tuesday. Twice they called me back to tell me the appointment is on Monday and then MO ONE SHOWS UP! I called them to ask why anyone hadn't showed up they say the appointment is on. Tuesday!! They then apologise and say someone will call me back to make another appointment and no one bothers calling. Absolutely useless!!! Go with Martyn Gerrard way more professional and experienced....
