Having not secured the property I wanted, he went on to follow up with me on a similar property. I have always said you never know when someone you treat poorly will be that potential big client in the future or worst even your manager or in law.

Being a business owner I know first hand that the integrity and success of a business lays solely in the hands of front of house team so I feel it’s important recognise individuals who go above and beyond to provide outstanding customer experience.
I would like to acknowledge and highlight the outstanding efforts of ‘Maxine’ made it possible for my daughter and I to move into our now ‘new home’ working 24/7 against all obstacles that arose to ensure we were able to move into the house before my daughter’s surgery. We saw the house online on Friday and were handed the keys the following Saturday! Maxine kept us informed of all progress (including out of hour’s communication) and personally oversaw and pursued resolution to all stages of application.

Langford Russell have managed the letting of my flat for 8 years, ensuring that I had constant tenants. When I decide to sell the property in July 2022 Eddie and the team were brilliant at sorting out the listing, viewings and helping secure multiple offers. The sale stalled a couple of times but Eddie was always at the end of the phone to reassure and chase the buyers when needed. We rented a property that is 100% managed by Langford Russell. It’s honestly disappointing on how unresponsive they are. Have to be chased multiple times to get things fixed and nobody replies to emails. If you call them they’re unavailable and keep passing on the responsibility from department to department without taking ownership and claim it is the first time they hear of the complaint. If you are a tenant i do not recommend going through them if they are managing the property. Would be better having to speak to a responsible landlord directly instead.

Really dissatisfied and unhappy with the service I received here. I was invited to collect keys for our new property with my flat mate and complete last identification checks. I arrived at the agreed time in my welcome pack to complete handover. The Lettings negotiator assigned to me quite clearly had no idea about the property and wasn’t able to answer any relevant questions about the property. I found this highly concerning basic queries couldn’t be answered and was unimpressed the Lettings negotiator was deflecting and blaming head office instead of taking accountability.
He was not helpful at all and was asking me questions about the property expecting me to know when he is the person who is letting the property and I am the tenant moving in. The keys which we came to collect wasn’t ready and I had to highlight to the Lettings negotiator that keys are missing, basics which should have been checked before we arrived. I was informed it’s a postbox key and then he decided it was an electrical meter room key. The actually key missing was the main front door key which we found out after we had to go to property to inspect for ourselves. I asked him what does each key do as we was just handed a bunch of keys and I was told “You need to go and have a walk around and find out for yourself what each key does” which I find extremely unprofessional.
Would not recommend this estate agents from my personal experience, as soon as commission is earned professionalism goes out the window.

Our new home was the first property we saw in Beckenham. Oliver, who showed us around, was an absolute star and an exception to experiences we had with other agents. Advice to prepare the flat prior was spot-on, the photos/description were great, they got far more people through the door than expected and secured multiple offers ahead of our own expectations. They continued to support the sale through conveyancing, prevented wobbles and ultimately got the flat sold at the initially agreed price in a relatively quick time frame. Putting the pandemic aside which made our propery journey very stressful in itself and taking a year to get to completion. In this time and before switching to langford Russell we subsequently endured a bad experience with another well known estate agent in beckenham high Street which led to us to terminate the contract after nearly losing our onward purchase. This was due to their negligence and deceit with our 3rd buyer, and our chain collapsing which at the time came as a shock to us as we found out through chasing our solictor and our seller who very nearly pulled the plug due to her own personal circumstances. We then made the switch over to langford Russell becoming their client too. This was the best decision ever and end to end transaction. Oliver drove the sale and sold our property to our 4th buyer within a week. Time was of the escence and we worked with Oliver to help him do this. Oliver is a great communicator and even drove aspects of the conveyancing on both sides which made things a lot smoother considering the stressful journey we had been on over the past year trying to move and with a shark of a previous agent. If you want to secure a property as quickly and smoothly as you can and beat the stamp duty Oliver at Langford Russell beckenham is your man, give this man a promotion I say! We love our new family home and had nearly lost all hope of securing it. So thanks again Oliver we hope you enjoyed the fizz well deserved! Aidan is a great agent and I take my hat off to him. I practically stalked him via phone and email to enable me to obtain the property I wanted (which I did!) and at no point did his manner toward me change. So my partner and I had a week of madness with calls from agents and 11 viewings in one day.
I have to say in all that time, and during the viewings, one of the best agents both on the phone and in-person was Aidan Sealy. For that week, I had all manner of people call me, but his professionalism, clear spoken tone and personality meant that he was one of the few agents whos I remembered by name. He would also send suggestions on new properties that had just entered the market, which was nice as there were some I had missed during my search.
He set up several viewings with some exciting properties for our day of madness. The first viewing was with Aidan who although calling to inform us he would be 5 mins late was 1 min early, he continued to be prompt and show up at properties on time or early - which was nice as many other agents were late and didn't inform us.
Really in person again he was very professional, genuinely seemed to care about us as clients and spoke to us about the property, key features and things that set it apart from others. He has good interpersonal skills, again which was nice as we had been used to having someone just open the door and leave us to look around. I have to say he made the day a lot more bearable and has a good was to look at each property, pointing out positives and excellent features which you might not think of. 10/10 thanks.

It’s nice to see great reviews on here but unfortunately we haven’t had the same experience – it’s been painful from start to finish. They’ve falsely advertised property features on RightMove and their leaflets but apparently they don’t have the time to update these to ensure it’s an accurate reflection. The property management team in Bromley don’t have a clue about the properties they manage and we’re constantly having to chase for an answer. We've expressed all of our concerns but they don't seem to raise these with their management team. I’d avoid using them where possible in the future – shame as we love the property we’ve moved into!

Eddie Youds of Langford Russell has restored my faith in estate agents or should I say that he has proved that there are still some good ones out there. As part of a chain we sold in Streatham and bought in Beckenham; selling we dealt with 5 different agents (at the same firm) with very little support or knowledge between them. Buying we dealt with Eddie who was personable, knowledgable, helpful and worked hard to get the deal done. From pursuing solicitors to getting access for surveyors with just hours notice he ensured that the deal happened. As we have just bought we wont be selling for many years but if we were, I would instruct him without a shadow of doubt, I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND to anyone thinking about selling.

Sorry for the nice people working there, but what a disaster of a company!
We found the flat we wanted through L&R, but looking run down. Offered the landlord to repaint it providing he does his share of works, like replacing a broken glass window overhanging the door way, removing the black mould impregnated all over the worktop, etc. We were promissed it would be done. The day we were given the keys, we realized that absolutely nothing had been done, that the unfurnished flat was left with old broken furniture and belongings, a gas canister abandoned outside hidden behind the shed, flush not working, boiler leaking, no inventory was ever made, nobody visited the flat after the previous tenant left.
We found another flat since, but we will never go close to Langford & Russell ever again.
