Excellent service! The flush button in our toilet broke and we reported the issue straight away. We were really impressed with how quickly it was dealt with. If your property is not a high value sale, you will not be a priority to them. Once sale is agreed, there is no follow up or progression help.

I had a 5-star experience renting a flat through Berefords. Lynn went above and beyond to help me sort everything out before the tenancy and was always helpful and responsive throughout the process. To say Olivia changed our lives would genuinely be an understatement.<br><br>What should have been a relatively straightforward move turned into a much longer and far more stressful process than we ever anticipated, but Olivia was absolutely incredible from start to finish. She went above and beyond at every possible opportunity to keep things moving, get problems resolved as quickly as possible and, just as importantly, keep us calm and reassured throughout it all.<br><br>Evenings, weekends, even while she was on holiday — Olivia always seemed to be there when we needed her. The level of care, communication and commitment she showed us was honestly exceptional.<br><br>The entire team at Beresfords Maldon were fantastic, helping us with both the sale of our property and the purchase of our new home. We asked Beresfords in Maldon to help us sell my father’s property and from the outset we found all the team compassionate and respectful of this difficult time for us.<br><br>Nic came to value the property and we immediately felt that we had made the right decision. I can’t recommend Stacey Gill highly enough. Her communication and professionalism have been superb, especially while I’ve been working and travelling abroad. Despite being in two countries, Stacey kept me continuously informed and made sure I always felt involved.<br>Her comforting, patient and reassuring nature made a difficult time in the market much easier. Completely useless. Property listed for 2 months and not a single viewing.<br><br>I engaged Beresfords to sell my property at the beginning of June and apart from the initial visit they were totally inept. Every single thing they were responsible for either didn’t happen or was done so poorly that I had to do it myself!<br><br>1. They made no effort with the initial proposal for the online listing and brochure included the worst photos of my property, despite having taken other much more appealing photos. Key information (such as parking, refurbishments that had been completed etc.) was also missing. I had to provide extensive feedback for them to fix all of these points.<br>2. They did not put up a board outside for several weeks, and only did so when I questioned where it was. Excuse was “it’s the board companies fault”.<br>3. In 8 weeks they managed to find ONE potential viewer who cancelled the first appointment the day before and then on the second appointment did not even bother to turn up - I later found out she missed her mortgage appointment directly before, but nobody at Beresfords bothered to tell me this.<br>4. Despite the lack of viewings, and the fact that my property is modern, well presented, in a good location, and has a few unique/desirable features such as a garage and parking, Beresfords did not once contact me to suggest a new strategy or price amendment.<br><br>I cancelled my contract with them without giving the required 28 days notice and although they provided excuses as to why their performance had been poor, they did not try to enforce the notice period as they clearly knew they’d been totally incompetent.<br><br>The whole process was incredibly stressful, wasted lots of my time, and massively delayed my move. The final insult was that I had to follow up 10 days after I’d asked for the board to be collected as it was still outside my home!
