Very helpful staff from Nigel and his team.<br>They kept us up to date on the sale process.<br>Just as well that we used the solicitors that they suggested -this gave more overall control of the sale process.<br>Overall we are very happy with their exceptional service - we would recommend them.

Connor, Donna and Lisa have been great helps to us the newbie in town/country. I like that the two sales representatives mentioned (Connor and Donna) are professional, resourceful, respectful and patient to walk us through different potential houses and answer various questions we came up with. We’ve come across lots of property consultants in Brighton and around now; in terms of quality, attitude, follow-up work, attention to customer needs with zero discrimination, I confirm that Cubitt & West is top of the league. Very disappointing property management service.<br><br>I would not recommend Cubitt & West Lettings based on my experience as a landlord.<br><br>My main concerns are poor communication, lack of transparency and expenditure being deducted without my prior approval. Around £400 was deducted from my rental income for a replacement washing machine. I was later told that the replacement had been agreed by the previous owner before I purchased the property, but the cost was nevertheless deducted from my rental income without informing me or obtaining my approval.<br><br>When I asked for basic details about when it was approved, who authorised it and the relevant invoice/order information, I struggled to get a clear answer.<br><br>What concerns me most is not the £400 itself, but the lack of communication and accountability. I chose a fully managed service because I expected professional management and clear communication, but instead I have had to repeatedly chase them for answers.<br><br>I have now submitted a formal complaint, but the whole experience has seriously damaged my confidence and trust in their management service.<br><br>Landlords should think carefully before handing over management of their property to this company.
