22nd May 2024 (1 year ago)Absolute shocking service which resulting in me losing alot of money. No communication, no updates, they over value a property to get you on board and then you have to keep reducing the price because they cannot sell it. 2 years to sell a property during a time when all houses were flying off the shelves! Anything associated with Duckworths, I would stay well away unless you want to lose money. They don't care and it shows in their service.
10th Jun 2025 (7 days ago)Where do I start. Horrible estate agents, do visits every 3 months and just let them selves in without permission if you ain’t in . Tell you you can decorate and let you do the property up then evict you with no reason and make loads of stuff up and try blaming me for mould even though when I decorated i made them aware of the damp carpet plus they have seen the mould on the inspections just so they can keep the deposit, not to mention hounding my guarantor for 5 weeks rent when I’ve already told them I’m leaving within a week, nowt but money grabbing wolves in sheep clothing . Ruined all my belongings with damp and mould but apparently I owe them money absolute crooks. Not to mention to charge me for removing a door that was never there and having been charged for removing polystyrene ceiling tiles (FIRE HAZARD) underneath the damp wall paper on the ceiling which had been covered in . Also tried charging me for marks on the asbestos filled storage heaters from the 1960s what don’t even work which I told them and they did nothing, also painted the front door and fixed it, the door looked like it hadn’t been touched since the 60s had old glass with wire in and was yellow it hadn’t been painted in that long and a gap underneath that let all the cold in , had to buy 4 electric heaters and still couldn’t get warm. I’ve also noticed my breathing and health has improved. SLUM LANDLORD ENERGY GROUP E NOT TOUCHED SINCE 60s THEN CHARGED FOR IMPROVING AFTER BEEN GIVEN PERMISSION Do not use regency Do not move to 28 newton close , Wigan WN1 2LH

16th Mar 2025 (13 weeks ago)Attempted to arrange a viewing, called a few times "no answer". Had to go to the office to arrange viewing. Put offer in requested to be informed if it gets rejected for an opportunity to revise if required, no calls recieved called multiple times for an update to speak to speak to some1 again no answer. Had to go the office again to put forward a revised offer and email in writing to make sure recieved by sellor. Offer accepted, waiting months to get the paperwork sorted. Completion date confirmed, went to the property 1 last time for the vacant property it still had furnature and rubish, asked the manager in person if and when this will be removed response was "seller cant remove it right now she not here is she!", fair enough but didnt have to answer in this manner. Had to wait another week or so as sellors paperwork wasnt in order which was wholey avoidable. As the buyer felt very much dissapointed with the months of delay overall costing me time, effort and money in opportunity loss. Seen other properties come on the market after this one with other estate agents, sold with all paperwork go through before this one finalised. I didnt know who i was being messed about by Managers attidude at the last minute after chasing for months was very much if you dont want it ill put it back on maket, and line up other offers which was dissapointing. On a more possative note the sale did finally go through, and although the telephone communication was hit and miss mainly miss at the start, the email comms from Thayf was better. This was just my experiance others may have had a much better one.
25th Apr 2025 (8 weeks ago)Well I nearly didn’t go with them but so glad I did. They have been incredibly friendly yet also very professional. The photos and write-up were just brilliant. Beyond my expectations. They always have time for me on the phone. I feel they understood my position and were not pushy, but patient and took joy in my very fast sale. They seem to run that office like a machine. This is my 6th time moving house and this is (so far, and u have no doubt it will continue), by far the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agent. They are absolutely on the ball, keep me informed, and despite being exceptionally busy - so organised. I can’t recommend them highly enough - they’ve totally nailed this process! A big thank you to them! ????

Mark, Jack and Harriet were brilliant during the process from taking the pictures for the advert, handling the viewings and the communication during the completion stage. Great value on sales fees too compared to other agents, we would highly recommend.

7th Jun 2025 (10 days ago)I moved into a property with H2Homes in April and have received amazing service and customer service from day 1! If I ever call or email the office I always feel very heard and whenever I speak to Theresa she always listens to anything I have to ask and if she cannot answer my question she will make sure she gets me an answer. Everytime I have raised any issue (which are normally just wear and tear issues with the property) Theresa and the staff at H2Homes get someone out to fix the issue very quickly, I don't think I have ever waited over 24 hours which I think is amazing! I have 2 small children and suffer with epilepsy and plane property I am in is perfect for my health.

3rd Jun 2025 (14 days ago)This company provides a very professional service. Jamie and Zoe supplied a very fair, realistic evaluation and the property sold quickly at asking price. The quality of the photos for the listing was superb and created immediate demand for viewings, which were all handled by the office team. WE were always given quick and relevant feedback. Everyone was conscientious' approachable and created a positive house sale experience. This company deserves their success. Many thanks to all of you.

4th Jun 2025 (13 days ago)The adverts you get is promising. 10-16% return. It is very attractive. As a business one should know it is too good to be true. The model is they convert auctioned property bought at a very cheap price tag, convert it to a exempt accomodation by changing the structure and add rooms. It would be leased to a social housing company on long term. The property will be sold to you on an inflated price tag by atleast a 100k with a promise of high return. Ofcourse one year later the social housing company introduced by the OPA goes in to administration for not paying their rent. OPA would say not their fault. They have asked a hefty fees for the whole transaction and you do not meet these social housing providers or you don't get multiple options. Also when the social housing provider went to administration there was no help offered. So 100k down the drain and still don't have possession of our own property, I am writing this feedback to warn anyone who is looking to purchase via them. Hope it is helpful.
