Simon was with me every step of the way in the auction process giving me his expert guidance and advice. He has such a wealth of knowledge and experience in every aspect of the process and was able to move things on and get to the heart of matters quickly and efficiently and maintained a positive and highly professional attitude throughout. The Auction process was new to me and Simon made navigating it straightforward and effective. Nothing was too much trouble and calls and queries were dealt with quickly and effectively. I am very grateful for all the work he has done on the sale of my property

Jess and Jen were both incredibly helpful and kind, always willing to work with us to find a way of making the process work with our circumstances. What had taken multiple weeks with a previous agency was able to be sorted within only a few days with the team here. I would definitely recommend!

After tirelessly searching for available properties, we stumbled upon a delightful flat that caught our attention. We promptly reached out to Your Move, and to our delight, Tracy responded the same day, confirming the availability of the flat. She impressively handled all our inquiries and swiftly scheduled a viewing for us. Her proactive approach made the entire process much smoother and less stressful. Following the viewing, we expressed our interest in the property, and to our joy, we were selected as the tenants. We are immensely grateful to Your Move Brighton for their invaluable assistance in helping us secure our new home. We had a personal recommendation to use Nicholas James when we were thinking about renting our property over 4 years ago, and it was a great decision. From day one they have been attentive, quick to communicate, and hands-on with all aspects of property management. They've been a great sounding board and offered advice and their expertise when needed. Having them manage everything gives us complete peace of mind. Cannot recommend them enough - and we do recommend them whenever anyone asks about management companies in the Brighton or Hove.

18th Mar 2024 (7 mo. ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Communication was excellent and constant follow up with the seller and between solicitors throughout the buying process. I feel extremely lucky to go through buying process with Josh. He is absolute the best and the most professional estate agent that I met so far. Even the most stressful time going through the exchange week, Josh dealt with all the difficulties with calm and professional manner. If you are buying or selling your property, I highly recomment Cox&Co Estate Agent and no doubt you will be in safe hands.

23rd Sep 2024 (30 days ago)Avoid, avoid, avoid. If I could give no stars I would. My first home when I moved to the UK, they asked I pay six months rent up front which I had no issue doing as I thought it was going to be a nice place to live. If I'd known what was going to happen I never would have done this. In the nine months I lived there, there was little to no hot water on the property. I begged and begged for this to be fixed, they'd constantly send people out to "see what the problem was" but steps were rarely made to try and fix it. There were also other smaller issues with the property they constantly said they'd get around to fixing which either took months or never happened. Staff were really rude whenever contacted and refused to let me try and sort the hot water issue out with the landlord directly. I asked for advice on Reddit and a lot of people have had similar awful experiences with this company. Don't waste your time or money on them.
