Thank you so much to Tim and team for at last getting us over the line with our very trying and tedious recent sale (which to make things even more complicated became 2 sales as we had to split the property in the end). Genuine people doing a good job in an area with many unique and therefore not straightforward properties.

2nd Mar 2019 (5 years ago)We are student at Durham University and we decided to rent a house. I called the estate agent and they agreed to send us the agreement and everything to rent this one house that we really liked. We were supposed to arrive a week later to submit the forms and pay deposit. When I got the papers, they confirmed with us that the house would be definitely be reserved for us. However, the morning we were supposed to hand in the papers, I got a short, badly articulated email saying that the property was no longer available and that we should look somewhere else. No explanation, nothing. We were angry because student accommodation is competitive and we lost so much time waiting for this house. Upon emailing them multiple times, they finally said that the previous tenants decided to stay for another year. Didn’t they confirm with the current tenants that they would be moving out? Why would they even list the house if that was an option? .Why send us the agreements and everything? They didn’t even bother trying to find us other options that we could stay at instead. All and all, I would never use this agent again because their service is absolutely terrible
22nd Feb 2023 (1 year ago)Amanda was absolutely superb could not fault her level of customer satisfaction. She communicated regularly keeping me informed of progress and chasing buyers when I became frustrated by stalling techniques.
16th Feb 2024 (6 mo. ago)From the moment my property went on the market I never heard from Dowen again other than to tell me if I had a viewing. I might aswell have put the house up for sale myself. £1200 for what? Putting it on Rightmove? Photos were terrible, he said he would come back when it was sunny to take some more. Never heard from him... Appalling customer service, no call backs just nothing, no personal touch at all. Would never use again, there are plenty of better local estate agents out there who would take much better care of you for a lot less money.

From sale and purchase through to completion they were professional, knowledgeable and a pleasure to work with. Tess in particular handled our sale/purchase progression and was, without doubt, the most helpful and competent person we dealt with throughout any of the transactions. On so many occasions her knowledge helped us to keep the transactions progressing. She recognised our situation and did absolutely everything she could, going above and beyond, to support us at a very stressful time. Thanks very much!

The property and listed within a day with the listing showing the property to a high standard. Any problems the tenants have in the property Jack is quick to come to a solution and informing myself quickly.
21st May 2024 (16 weeks ago)Good experience except for an encounter with one individual called Todd. He was very keen to tell me he was the company director on arrival, then told me (whilst picking dirt out of his fingernails) “I couldn’t really care less about this property” probably because it was cheap and his commission is low, I’m hoping he doesn’t treat people buying cheap properties less than those spending millions. If he does he clearly doesn’t understand the basic principles of business. Business isn’t about quick transactions, it’s built on relationships. I will not be doing business with this company moving forward, I would advise against using them, they lied to me twice in the process of buying the house and the disappointing attitude from inflated ego Todd was a let down, perhaps if he did his research he wouldn’t talk to me like that. Shame really, when one guy lets the team down.

Pattinsons had a number of clients interested in my type of house and a buyer was found very quickly. They were able to arrange an EPC and organise remedial electrical work. This was most convenient as I had already moved over 300 miles away. What could have been problematic was handled with ease. A very professional outfit.

Wayne and the rest of the staff were fantastic the whole time I was at the premises and extremely helpful throughout. I can not fault the service that they provided throughout my tenancy at the property and can recommend their services to anybody looking to buy or rent

29th Aug 2024 (15 days ago)I recently rented through Elite Estate Agents, and while their overall service was professional in terms of processes like referencing, issuing contracts, and reminders, my experience with their agent, Janet, left much to be desired. As a landlord myself, managing four properties, I have high standards for how tenants should be treated, and unfortunately, Janet's conduct fell far short. Upon moving in, the flat was handed over to us in a state that I found unacceptably unclean. Despite pointing out visible issues, such as cake on the floor, hairs, and crumbs, Janet dismissed our concerns, insisting the flat had been cleaned. Our request for a second clean was outright denied, forcing us to deep clean the flat ourselves. At the end of the tenancy, we took care to return the flat cleaner than how we received it. However, during checkout, Janet's attitude was shockingly rude and unprofessional. She seemed more interested in nitpicking minor issues—like dust behind a radiator—than in acknowledging the effort we put into maintaining the property. Her behavior was, in my view, overly critical, dismissive of our concerns, and entirely lacking in basic courtesy. When I attempted to discuss the unfairness of the cleaning fee deducted from our deposit, Janet interrupted me repeatedly, talked over me, and was condescending throughout the conversation. This left me feeling not only unheard but also disrespected. I considered challenging the fee through the DPS (Deposit Protection Service), but due to time constraints, I was unable to pursue it further. On a more positive note, Alan was consistently professional, and the landlord was fair and easy to deal with. However, I strongly believe that Elite Estate Agents should seriously reconsider how they allow their agents to treat tenants, especially when it comes to basic respect and customer service.

Communication is always relevant & timely. Their Support, guidance & knowledge of the process I found invaluable. If I ever needed to move house again then these are the first people I would call. I would highly recommend Moovd to everyone & anyone planning a move.
