16th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Worst company imaginable. Gave us misinformation for over six months regarding entry dates and also told us development was finished when it was not. Double check everything you are told by them. They misled us and we ended up over £18000 out of pocket. Avoid this company at all cost. They don’t admit liability for anything they do.

All questions,thoughts, and details were handled with our interest, 1st and foremost. Nicola could not have been more helpful. Her manner and professionalism were obviously clear that she is an expert in this kind of work. My wife and I look forward to any more meetings in the future with Nicola, which I'm sure will be handled in the same professional manner as the first ???? ????

19th Sep 2024 (17 weeks ago)Really poor experience of being a buyer through Remax, the house purchased was not as described or accurate according to Home Report. On entry to our home, no message to wish us all the best, no hot water, all the heating needing changed and based on the description was disgraceful. We asked questions at the viewing and told all was working and there hadn't been a leak which there had and now having to pay £10k on heating which was reflected as a '1' on the home report. TBH I don't think they asked the sellers any real questions and just marketed, took the money and moved on.

By chance, I came across Slater Hogg meeting Lisa on the first day. She was amazing and dealt with everything including the sale of the house etc. Jane and Rhys then came on board and the 3 of them were like angels working on the sale of mums home. The care and support was truly wonderful. Nothing was a bother to them and they did everything to support us. I will never forget them and I hope Slater Hogg know they have three gems there working for you. Many Thanks, Louise Reid & Family."

We particularly valued the ease with which we were able to contact Carolyn and Karin, who gave a level of personal service which was second to none. Their experience and knowledge of the local housing market helped us through the process of selling our house in Linlithgow.

The communication could have been a bit better and they could’ve been a bit more forth coming with feedback and an idea of how we things were progressing. Viewings overall were fine, except one agent was late to a viewing! Other than that we have been happy with the support and advice we recieved and would recommend them to others looking to buy.
22nd Sep 2024 (17 weeks ago)We chose Gillespie Macandrew because we wanted the whole selling process (including the calculation of capital gains tax) to be under one roof. Gillespie Macandrew more than lived up to our expectations. The marketing, conveyancing and capital gains processes were all sequentially and logically implemented and there was always someone on hand to answer our questions. The stress involved in selling a property was greatly reduced, the sale went smoothly and efficiently, and we received a price well above the valuation.
12th Jan 2025 (4 days ago)We chose Aberdein Considine as they offered the cheapest quote from the 3 companies we contacted. They were prompt in all communications and we felt they worked hard at selling our home. We were particularly impressed with their viewing agents.

Going forward with the house sale, Robert couldn't have been better, keeping me updated throughout the whole process, it was outstanding service and second to none. Thanks to the experience I received from Drummond Miller through Robert, I intend to use them again very soon when I sell my parents' house. Highly recommend without reservation
11th Mar 2021 (3 years ago)Not great - would not use again. Did nothing to find interested parties in first few weeks until I had to call a senior team member to complain... Not ideal - feel like they had too much work to handle mine at the time. Would have fathered they had just said they were too busy than wait too I was stressed and lost out on buyers.- 18th Dec 2024 (29 days ago)Thanks for providing such a sterling service over the last two years. The process in Scotland is different and Gillian explained everything to us simply and clearly. Her outstanding knowledge of the local market helped guide us to submit an offer which was accepted. She was pro-active throughout the process. We never felt we had to chase her for updates. Her calm, professional approach made the whole process much smoother than we had anticipated. Zara has been an invaluable source of advice and assistance on several matters - mortgage discharge, putting a Will and Power of Attorney in place, and administering and settling my late father's estate. Elaine was invaluable in the selling process of my late father's house. At all times, professional, efficient, helpful and friendly. I will have no hesitation in engaging Stewart Watt for any future legal requirements.

13th Nov 2023 (1 year ago)Upon moving out, I repeatedly contacted them to release my deposit. Unfortunately, even after a month has passed, my deposit remains unreleased. Following persistent follow-ups, they informed me that they had hired a "sparkle clean" service and would be sending me an invoice for the cleaning expenses. Ironically, I had already hired a professional cleaner to ensure the property was left in impeccable condition before my departure. The house was in a cleaner state than when I first moved in. It is disheartening to note that despite my efforts and the clear state of the property, they continue to withhold my deposit. Their reluctance to return the deposit, coupled with their evasive actions, strongly suggests unethical practices. They are absolute scammers, and I strongly advise others to avoid engaging with them at any cost.
