19th Sep 2024 (7 mo. ago)Really poor experience of being a buyer through Remax, the house purchased was not as described or accurate according to Home Report. On entry to our home, no message to wish us all the best, no hot water, all the heating needing changed and based on the description was disgraceful. We asked questions at the viewing and told all was working and there hadn't been a leak which there had and now having to pay £10k on heating which was reflected as a '1' on the home report. TBH I don't think they asked the sellers any real questions and just marketed, took the money and moved on.
13th Mar 2025 (6 weeks ago)Me and my partner used the Easymover scheme through Taylor Wimpey and were given a choice of two estate agents. We went with Slater Hogg as Lisa gave us the friendly face we were looking for. Within the first week we heard nothing during the busiest point of sale. The second week, we had a viewing, I received no feedback and called multiple times and got answer machine. Eventually they did pick up the phone and Jane apologised profusely as one was on holiday and one was on sick and it’s a 3 man team. I let it slide as Jane was lovely. Within the next 4 weeks, we had maybe 2 more viewings. I didn’t feel like a priority as we weren’t paying them directly and I didn’t feel like they took us seriously when we complained about this. I was repeatedly told by Lisa ‘I don’t know what the problem is’ after me explaining it multiple times. I wouldn’t return here, as we have now been on the market 3 days and have 5 viewings, more than we got in 6 weeks with slater Hogg.

We decided upon Your Move because of the professional and reassuring manner by which we were dealt with. The process from start to finish was seamless and we were impressed that our points of contact was limited to Lisa and Fiona, both of whom were always aware of our current situation. The flat was visited by Lisa and she was clear in her expectations in regards to a suitable tenant and this was reflected in the viewers. We were delighted with our tenant who we feel meets our expectations. The main point in any review is whether we would use Your Move Falkirk again and we happily would do so,

My property was on the market quickly and I accepted an offer even higher than I was hoping for within two weeks. The photos and listing were of a high standard, the home report and solicitor were organised quickly by them (highly recommend using their recommended solicitor!), and their communication throughout the whole process was spot on. It was my first time selling a property and I felt truly taken care of every step of the way and got an even better, quicker result than expected. I can’t recommend Avenue Road highly enough! 18th Apr 2025 (4 days ago)I couldn't recommend Michael highly enough - from our initial consultation, we felt Michael offered something a little different and we both warmed to him instantly. He was honest about the market and our expectations and didn't try the "hard sell." And from then on, if Michael said he was going to do something, he did it, keeping us informed every step of the way. From what we had seen online, we expected brilliant marketing, and we certainly got that. But what I really felt helped our sale was the way Michael handled viewings. All our potential buyers knew exactly what we were looking for and what were the big selling points of our house and the area. In the end, we sold quickly and got exactly what we hoped for. Michael deserves all the accolades he's getting, 5 out of 5 from us!!
