6th Apr 2024 (23 weeks ago)Our experience with Mov8 was easy they kept us informed with viewing and communication was prompt. The only thing was their offices are in Edinburgh and Glasgow and we are in Carnoustie which was a little inconvenient if we needed to go to their office to sign things
14th Mar 2024 (6 mo. ago)Lack of communication and not pro-active as I had to instigate them doing anything. Pricing is terrible everything is an extra add on with vat on everything. Too expensive for lack of contact and or proactivity.
2nd Sep 2024 (14 days ago)Chris was fantastic in the whole house selling process! Got things done quickly, always kept us up to date and was very good at helping us with any questions we had! Would 100% use PC again and recommend to anyone in the area!
16th Feb 2022 (2 years ago)Worst company imaginable. Gave us misinformation for over six months regarding entry dates and also told us development was finished when it was not. Double check everything you are told by them. They misled us and we ended up over £18000 out of pocket. Avoid this company at all cost. They don’t admit liability for anything they do.
6th Aug 2024 (6 weeks ago)Absolutely abysmal speed of response. They commit to answering questions, but don't respond to any emails. Would give negative stars if possible.

I couldn’t believe how kind they were, printing everything out for free, and being generous with their time and giving me a backroom and helped me sign. Thank you Holly. Above and beyond, and kind to a stranger and didn’t charge me a thing. Thank you very much.

He was very professional,kept me updated with entire process and planned everything on my behalf including my will,Insurance etc and was very patient to clear all my doubtsas it was my very first purchase.He was always there whenever I needed him..Would definitely recommend.

The sale of our house was a big step for me and my family as it was our first family home with so many special memories and Chris was the absolute perfect person to help us on that journey. From the initial discussion through the day of the sale and beyond, he was more supportive than we could have ever asked for. Even when we had the stress of having to put our house back on the market due to our initial buyers falling through, he helped guide us on best next steps. His knowledge of the industry is unparalleled and it being a family business just gives everything an even more special feeling. Thank you Chris, Laura, Christeen and Angela. You were all the absolute dream team. We can’t ever thank you all enough. If you are selling your house please trust me when I say they are the absolute best in the business.

They are professional yet approachable which made us feel comfortable from the get go. We are thrilled that we chose them to sell our first house and would not hesitate to be a returning customer if it ever came to moving again. A big thank you to them both :)

Reassuring and positive. Information given is clear, instructive and they have answered any questions that arose. Highly recommend and very grateful to all the staff along the way.

27th May 2024 (16 weeks ago)Very poorly organised company . First time I walked into the office a member of staff was sleeping sitting up in room . There is serious lack of communication delays in everything as they don’t send forms correctly or when they are supposed to.. been a very bad experience and have to chase things up myself when it was there job to do things correctly but this was not the case . Avoid at all costs ….

23rd Aug 2024 (24 days ago)Our journey with Avenue Road began back in 2023 with a competitive valuation from Jennifer. We went to market and had a number of viewings lined up, all expertly handled by Jennifer who was in constant contact and proactively gave us feedback from viewers. Within 6 weeks we had a VERY reasonable offer on the table and were excited to move. When an unexpected turn of events meant we had to withdraw from the sale whilst we were abroad, Jennifer handled everything for us. One phone call and all parties were informed and our listing mothballed until such a time as we were ready to go back to market. Truly, I have no words to describe how easy she made this really difficult time for us. When we were ready to return to market some 6 months later, Jennifer had everything ready to go and in 24 hours we had a weekend of viewings booked in. In a matter of days we were under offer again. From the offer acceptance right the way through to completion, Jennifer was there for us and provided a truly seamless service liaising with lawyers on both sides of the sale and assisting us with the handover of keys on completion day when we were unable to be there ourselves. Be in no doubt, if you instruct Avenue Road you will be working with the best in the business! Their market knowledge and communication are second to none.

5th Jul 2024 (10 weeks ago)BE VERY CAREFUL!!! Once these lot have your deposit they ignore you. We agreed to buy a buy to let from these and went through the mortgage application with our own agent. We then found out they had overvalued thr property by a fair amount, not allowing us to get a mortgage. We were then told we had to use their mortgage person, which cost us another £300 but we had no option. They also could not get us a mortgage because the value was less than 50k. Upon telling these lot, they are now ignoring our calls, you can't speak to the refund team as only on email, no managers have phones and they won't give us our deposit back even though it states we are entitled to it back for following their stipulations. I'm no being ignored by the salesman Jack and no one will return emails etc. I will be taking this to the Ombudsman too, to highlight this appalling service and blatant overvalued to gain mortgage applicants. They had the same listing on their site for £52,500 and £46,000. We found this after we had agreed a price. So be very careful not to deal with these people. They are rude and have total lack of customer service once they have your deposit. Zero stars from me!!!
