21st Sep 2022 (3 years ago)Rented a property through Jackson Howe and was made to feel unwelcome by the landlord and their family. Following this began to receive calls from JH suggesting and asking if I should leave early based on 'subsidence' in the property and my safety, subsidence was known at the start of the rental period and didn't noticeable change during the three months I stayed. After a matter of days I began to feel so uncomfortable that I asked to mutually end the lease agreement with the landlord after three months, when my minimum rent period was six months, to leave from the place that I stayed at. I am not sure if JH was working with the landlord to get me to move on or whether they were an unfortunate and unknowing part of the landlord (and landlords family) to get me out of the property. This experience has left a very unpleasant taste in my mouth.

20th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)What can you say in a comparison study? No one sells a house regularly, and without some regrets. None of us feels that they’ve achieved what the house was worth to us. But Milsom was transparent in their dealings, reported quickly on the viewings, were responsive to information requests, and clearly knew their market. They were professional!

Throughout our very ‘eventful’ move both Charlie and Josh were on hand to answer questions straight away or support whenever needed. Our huge thanks go to Josh especially for always going above and beyond to make our move as smooth as possible! A professional yet caring 5 star service! From day 1 they were head and shoulders above the other agents I had tried, both long established in the town. From communication to marketing my property and finally selling and getting the sale through to completion. Highly Recommended!!!

From day one, Victoria showed a professionalism and a knowledge of the local area. She was quick to respond to any questions or concerns we had. From enquiries to viewings arranged, Victoria made ensured that we were supported and informed throughout the entire journey. Her guidance in presenting the bungalow to show it at it's best and expert advice made the whole experience much less stressful than we initially thought. Moreover, everyone we interacted with in the Chinnor team was friendly and knowledgeable, which made us feel confident and at ease. 1st Sep 2025 (10 weeks ago)If I could give this estate agents no stars I would. I rented out a property which was managed by this estate agents, and the property was filthy, with no working bathroom or hot water in the kitchen. The hob was broken, and throughout the property there was exposed wirings, broken blinds, broken light bulbs etc. Upon emailing the estate agents, I was met with utter contempt and rudeness. There was no support, proper communication and the general demeanour was one of hostility, lack of care, disinterest and if it didn't benefit them financially, they were not interested. I find it horrifying that they consider the state of the flat they rented out acceptable. Food was still down the sink, and the bathroom mirror was broken. It took them over 6 weeks to send the handyman out despite promising it would happen as soon as possible, and this was with numerous chaser emails. Their conduct was completely unprofessional, and way below the standards I would expect of any company, let alone one who is supposed to be supportive of tenants. I would advise anyone to stay away from letting with this company. I cannot advise on their sales team, but from what I have seen of the director, and the woman looking after my tenancy, I would never recommend them to anyone.

Just moved into my new property and could not be happier. I have always been a bit wary of agents - not in this case!!!
