We particularly liked the village and Sandy was very knowlegeable about the area also living in the vicinity. The 4 bed detached house that we bought had been empty for awhile and needed a lot of work however Sandy highlighted the potential and shared our vision. From our first viewing to our completion Sandy kept us updated and was proactive in following up solicitors on both sides and ensured that there weren't any unnecessary delays. We are very happy with how everthing went and are looking forward to showing Sandy our house once its is fully refurbished.

Any questions I had they answered quickly and I felt they went the extra mile to follow up with both parties solicitors and any other third parties involved in the process. Clare and Miles made my buying experience very smooth.- 10th Jan 2026 (23 weeks ago)It was a pleasure to deal with Roger at Frost and the rest of the team. Roger was the estate agent for the house we were buying and was incredibly responsive, helpful and supportive throughout. Highly recommended.
4th Jun 2024 (2 years ago)Slow to give feedback on viewings. I had to chase after a couple of days but improved when I complained. Some rushed viewings . One agent arrived and said it had to be quick and she had asked the buyer to come earlier. Another told a late buyer asked to come at 8.45am on arrival that they only had 15 minutes so it would be a quick look . We were told they had a large database of buyers but I wonder if just relying on the property listings and their database algorithms to find people was enough. They did offer us a premium listing months later when I asked what else could be done and this generated viewings . Unable to arrange one second viewing and blamed staff absence for not contacting the buyer when I rang up a week later and the buyer did not return their call. People not getting back to them happened a lot . We were never shown any evidence of their contacts with people . It's a shame as they understood the market and provided a lot of information about why viewings were sparse due to external factors.Pleasant staff with good local knowledge. We gave them a long period as it was a tough time to sell but did decide to find another agent in the end as they did not seem that proactive .

Also sold a neighbours house in 2 weeks as well, after being on the market with other agentsfor literally 3+ years. The marketing is far better than other agents, with very clear and detailed floor plans and brilliant video promotion, not the usual picture scrolling stuff, it has voice overs narration, music and more. Watch out Hollywood !!! Many thanks Luke for all your help. Very much appreciated and would 1000% reccomend.

As expected with these things there were hiccups, but Alex did everything he could to ensure a smooth sale and keep me up to date with what was going on. It was a pleasure working with Alex, and I look forward to hopefully working with him and Crendon house again in the future

The team Dennis and expecially Mark were very professional, knowledgeable and kept me informed throughout the entire process. They made what can often be a stressful experience feel straightforward and manageable. Communication was excellent and they were always available to answer any questions. The whole team have been amazing and genuinely do look after you throughout the process. I had previously tried Wye and Ford and Partners and the difference is night and day. I really wouldn’t bother with the others as they failed to deliver on several counts. I had many promises and assurances from other estate agents but Robertsons was the only one that delivered. Many thanks.

The whole team were incredibly helpful throughout, from first meeting Nick to view the property to liaising with Karli and Sally during the purchase. Their knowledge and support made the process much easier for us. A fantastic company to deal with and one I would highly recommend.

13th Apr 2024 (2 years ago)I felt we had a very rocky start with the main contractions dealing with leaving. I had to chase mostly for feed back on viewings and I never felt that communication was as it was promised in the beginning. It’s a difficult market so it’s hard to say what and how the flat would have sold price wise and time wise in a better market overall I would say average

11th Jun 2026 (8 days ago)I had a viewing booked for a property which was around 40 minutes to get to from my previous location. However, i arrived 15 minutes early and waited to be seen. I was there for 45 minutes, called and emailed the agency several times and left voicemails, knocked on the property but still no avail. They left me to stand outside a property, and to make it worse, no one messaged after with an apology or explanation. Do not go with agency, unprofessional is an understatement

12th Jun 2026 (7 days ago)Repeated failures, ignored emails, unreturned calls — do yourself a favour and avoid. Using Gibbs Gillespie has been nothing but a disaster. This has been the worst professional experience I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I appointed Gibbs Gillespie to manage my property, but in practice I encountered repeated failures and ended up having to manage the property, the tenant and the contractors myself. The complaints process has been equally poor. In my experience, Gibbs Gillespie failed to take proper responsibility or deal with the live issues in any meaningful way. I recently dealt with Aston and Eve but have had a long list of property managers as people end up leaving the company. I have also been passed between a long list of property-management contacts, with limited continuity or ownership. Whatever the internal reason, the result for me as a landlord was confusion, delay and constant re-explaining. My experience was repeated failures, ignored emails, unreturned calls, poor ownership and a complete lack of diligence. One urgent issue took over 30 days before I even received sight of a quote. By that point, emails had gone unanswered, the tenant was escalating, and I had to step in from overseas to resolve it myself. When I asked for an explanation for the delay, there was simply no proper response. Sadly, this was far from isolated. Almost every interaction involved repeated chasing and begging for someone to respond to an email. This has left me out of pocket as landlord. For example, damage relating to insurance claims was not passed on to me in a timely manner. They also asked me to choose tile replacements without including the attachments, failed to respond properly to my chasers, and I have been left with a poorly finished bathroom. The tenant has had an equally poor experience. The tenant’s complaint appeared to go unacknowledged, and his requests were not passed to me in a timely manner. Gibbs were so ineffective that the tenant and I had to communicate directly, completely undermining the point of having a property management agent at all. Their attempt at fixing a bathroom leak involved six different call-outs, all paid for by me, a multi-thousand-pound bill, and I have been left with tiles that do not match the size, finish or texture of the bathroom. In my view, the end result has materially damaged the finish of the room. The complaints process has also been woefully inadequate. I raised serious service failings and expected proper investigation and accountability. Instead, I received process-heavy replies, requests to provide more evidence, and vague assurances while the live issues remained unresolved. In my opinion, Gibbs Gillespie’s property management service has been completely inadequate. I paid for a managing agent, but ended up having to repeatedly chase, resolve issues myself and speak to the tenant directly. Do yourself a favour and avoid.

Henne in particular deserves a mention - she really helped when our chain was dragging by communicating up and down the line and keeping us informed every step. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

No false expectations and excellent communication throughout. All of the staff are helpful and approachable but especially Aiden Lever who made sure that the process was as seamless as possible. I would recommend this estate agent. They are local and not part of a nationwide group. This means that their local knowledge is excellent and the actually care
