12th Mar 2025 (11 days ago)Been dealing with Brian Thomas estate agents for over 20 years - firstly they managed my property as a rental when I moved away from the area, and then more recently when I wanted to sell the property. Given I was no longer local, they gave a great service in helping to manage/resolve any issues and were genuine and I trusted them. Special mention to Amaal who I’ve been dealing with the most in the recent years - thank you

This move was very challenging however all the team were continually working towards our final goal. Brian Thomas is professional, reliable and no problem is an issue. The team made contact on a daily basis with updates and advice. Selling your property with Brian Thomas you are treated as an individual rather than just a number. I would highly recommend this estate agents.

From start to finish, he was extremely helpful, professional, and responsive. He guided me through the entire process with great expertise and provided valuable advice at every step. His honesty and straightforward approach made me feel comfortable and confident in my decisions. Additionally, he was very friendly and approachable, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. 11th Mar 2025 (12 days ago)Looked at a property via Filtons. Property advertised as being freehold. These people failed/never to mention that there is a lease attached to the freehold. It only popped up when fees had already been paid to solicitors and the searches came back. Added extra and unexpected cost due to Filtons failure to disclose information at the agreed point of sale. Please be careful when dealing with these people as you can't can't complain via there website and phone calls are falling on deaf ears. Very funny as soon as I post a negative review I get a phone call from? Filtons

26th May 2022 (2 years ago)The unique service offered by Griffin has enabled me to complete a DIY sale of my home on the Internet using national property sale platforms as if I was the website. I listed my property at 8am and by 9.30am on the same day I was receiving emails from potential purchaser's. I well know the power of the Internet, but even I was surprised by the speed of it all. The Griffin team have the power to listen and assist you, I wish to thank the person at Griffin who originated this professional service and his team for doing a great job. If I ever need to sell a home in future I will immediately use the Griffin service and have been recommending them to family and friends. Thank you.

After the viewing, I expressed my interest in the property and was ready to make the payment immediately.???????? However, the staff informed me that she had around a hundred more customers scheduled for viewings and that she would submit all the details to the landlord for a decision.???????? I realised that she did not seem interested in offering me the property, and I don't understand why she needs to engage with other customers after I had already committed. I am really disappointed because I took half a day off for this viewing.???????? Thank you. --- Let me know if you need any more help!
6th Mar 2025 (17 days ago)Dee & Dal are the best!!! "I’ve been a tenant with Goodmayes Home choice for 10 years from 2014-2024, and my experience has been nothing short of excellent. From the very beginning, the team has been incredibly professional, responsive, and attentive to any concerns or maintenance issues that arise, they always send an engineer / plumber the same day. They truly make the effort to ensure the property is well-maintained and that tenants are comfortable and happy. We had 1 x fridge, 1x washing machine changed to brand new as soon as the one we had stopped to work. The communication is always clear and efficient, whether it’s for routine matters or urgent requests. I’ve always felt valued as a tenant, with prompt responses and friendly service. They’ve made renting a stress-free experience, and I truly appreciate their dedication to providing a high standard of service. The property we rented was very comfortable and even though our family got bigger i was hesitant to move to rent another property when i hear stories about other estate agents and landlords. I left this tenancy only because i have bought my own and guess what i got my deposit returned !!! I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and customer-focused agency. From the start, they demonstrated expertise by listing my property for sale (in Whetstone, Barnet) at the top end of the valuation, ensuring it stood out in the market. To my delight, we received an offer within the first week! Their communication was excellent throughout, keeping me informed at every stage. If you’re looking for a professional, personable and efficient estate agent, I highly recommend.

5th Oct 2022 (2 years ago)We had a really bad experience with this estate agent, so beware. We had an offer accepted on a property, Jerome did the usual of taking our ID, proof of deposit, agreement in principle etc and confirmed acceptance. Three weeks later our solicitor raised our attention to the fact that the sellers solicitor had yet to issue draft contracts. After another week I finally got hold of Jerome who confirmed that the seller wouldn't issue the draft contract until we had a confirmed mortgage offer on the property. I told Jerome that wasn't the normal sequence we were familiar with, but he assured me that was how sales progressed in his experience. We went back to our solicitor who advised us that they would indeed normally wait for draft contracts to be issued before proceeding with searches and surveys etc. So we gave the sellers solicitor a deadline before we would reconsider the offer. On the day of the deadline the seller issued a race contract and advised us that there was another interested party who's offer had also been accepted and the seller would exchange with the party which secured a mortgage offer first. I don't know whether Jerome was aware that the seller had accepted multiple offers when we had our conversation, but my instinct at the time told me he wasn't being open and honest about the sellers intentions. So beware of this agent in case they try this with you.

I have never been so grateful for that recommendation. When Adam first walked through my door I warmed to him instantly. He is very straight to the point and says it how it is which I think is brilliant. I had already had two valuations by other agents, but Adam was the only Estate Agent who showed me what research he had done and why my house could go on the market for that price. After about 10 minutes of talking to Adam I knew I wanted him to sell my property. Everything was done so quickly and professionally. The photos and write up on my house was just amazing and it actually sold within four days of it going on the market. After selling I needed to find somewhere to live which Adam had already said him and his team could help me with. Adam gave me recommendations for a solicitor and a mortgage broker and I was again extremely thankful as both were brilliant. When it came to buying my purchase this is where I can not fault or recommend the lovely Daryl. He has been my absolute hero through the whole process of my purchase and the sell. Daryl has so much knowledge of Shared Ownership. For me this was a new route to go down and I felt very nervous and unsure about it all, but Daryl made it so easy to understand and went through it all with me. He helped me with any paperwork that I didn’t understand, any question was never to small or silly to ask at any time of the day. Both Daryl and Adam were always available on the phone but If they didn’t answer you could guarantee they would always call back or even when it came to collecting vital documents they would be there. Daryl went above and beyond as an estate agent and made me feel at ease and nothing was ever too much trouble for him to do. As a single mum getting on the property ladder again was a very scary time for me especially as I had lived in my old house for 18 years. Daryl’s expertise about Shared Ownership’s made my life so less stressful. I could go on about how amazing, caring and wonderful Daryl is but I would be here forever. If you need to know anything about buying a Shared Ownership I would highly recommend Daryl. On the day of completion, Daryl arrived at my new house and was there when I received my keys! I can not thank you enough for all your help and mostly for the wonderful support you have given me to start a new chapter in my new home. My journey of selling and buying with Haig property Professionals, is an understatement when I say they made my experience 100% less stressful. I would not use any other estate agents if I was to move again. Thank you Adam and Daryl for being THE BEST at what you do. You are amazing and I will forever be grateful to you both.
