25th Jul 2024 (2 days ago)I'd like to say thanks to Bilal at douglas allen I was on the market for nearly 7 months with another agent and they couldn't sell my property and kept reducing the price , Bilal kept regular contact with me and explained he could sell my property instantly. When my contract came to an end I called bilal and he straight away booked me a valuation and within 2 weeks sold my property for over asking price this guy is a man of his words and loves his job because his attention to detail is amazing. I'm so excited to get the keys for my dream home all thanks to bilal I wish I came to douglas allen sooner.

9th Jun 2024 (7 weeks ago)We chose Petty Son and Prestwich to sell our house having first got to know them when they were the acting agent for the vendor of the same house four years previously. All I can say is that the whole team are superb. The sales team we worked with, Greg, Faye, Francesca, Catherine, Pamela, Dan worked tirelessly to ensure our beautiful home was pitched at the right price using the right strategy. Their knowledge of properties in the area is second to none and given we ended up moving to another house in the same area, their advice and recommendations during the whole process was invaluable. It was a fairly drawn out process given market conditions at the time, with lots of ups and downs, but we always knew Pettys were keeping us fully informed and looking out for us. The whole team were always available for a chat to discuss progress and pick us up when needed and we really appreciated that. Once the sale was agreed, Elaine and Janine in the sales coordinator team were also incredible. Not every estate agent has a sales coordinator team, but after our experience I wouldn’t choose an estate agent who doesn’t have one. Again they both worked tirelessly to ensure our sale (and purchase) were as smooth as possible, by helping the communication between all parties involved. In conclusion, we thoroughly recommend Pettys for anyone looking to sell in the area and would like to give a big thank you to the whole team.

I was to see one house in Newbury Park , we was agreed about everything, we sign the precontract and we pay 1 weeks and after , when the people from the house he supposed to move they don’t wanted to move anymore. After one month and one week waiting.They tell us that they will give money back but surprises they give me back just from 600£ just 180 something like that. I don’t recommend ever this agency. And that Munyua is very arrogant
2nd Jul 2024 (25 days ago)Chalk Street are brilliant fixed rate Estate Agent, the team have been professional and helpful throughout, from Jack at initial concept through to Mandy as progressor. I had a particularly difficult solicitor, but Mandy was on top of the sale and exchange from the start to the end and gave every assurance possible throughout. The communication was brilliant. I would definitely recommend Chalk Street because of this.

25th Jun 2024 (5 weeks ago)Avoid this agent if your planning to let out your property. Once you hand over your keys and a tenant is found. No inspections take place as agreed prior to agreeing to letting the property out. The contractors that they use scam landlords, carrying out dodgy electric and gas certificates and without fail, the contractor will fail the inspection to attempt to get more money from the landlord. I've sent contractors that I found online a few days later and they confirm my property is in good condition for gas and electric, surprise surprise... I get my certificates issued with no fuss. The contract between agent and landlord.. complete scam yet again with a never ending contract which forces fees on the landlord which is completely unfair.. don't even think this is legal but will further investigate this matter. Also to add, when we agreed a rental increase and instructed anisten homes to agree with the tenants. I was told it was accepted but later found out that the tenant agreed paying anisten homes more than agreed with anisten home not informing me of this... scammers again.. Can see that they are using many of their friends to leave positive reviews on Google but this will not fool everyone. I strongly recommend to use another agent and avoid these scammers. FOLLOW UP COMMENTS AFTER THEIR REPLY. As a responsible landlord, I allow the agents to carry out the safety checks when needed without questioning the cost which are extremely high (contractors fee plus the agents finders fee) and they seem to find issues yearly without fail so after their so called checks, I get my own contractors out to complete the checks and confirm with the contractors that there is actually no faults and they confirm this so this is a clear way that the agent and their dodgy contractors attempt to rob more money for faults that don't exist. Regarding paying the exit fee, I have already explained to the agents that it will be paid once they fully explain their handover procedure to me and complete their hand out to myself of my own property... still awaiting a clear reply to how we can make this happen... these agents are only interested in grabbing your money!

What struck me the most about the service was something that is extremely rare to find in estate agents; they operate with integrity, openness and honesty. I never felt like I was being over sold or manipulated; they gave me the truth, and I trusted them fully to negotiate on our behalf and find us the best deal. I’d recommend them in a heart beat, thanks again guys, stellar job

From our initial conversations and throughout the whole process, the OC Homes team - Priyesh, Tony, Nav and Camron - were super professional; they were highly knowledgeable about the area and the current market as well as incredibly responsive and made sure I always felt like a priority. At each step in the whole process, the OC Homes team came through with their commitment to excellence. Their negotiation skills were first-rate – they consistently found ways to get us the best deal possible. They also went out of their way to ensure every detail was taken care of. While I've utilized their services for buying, selling, and letting properties, their reliability and organization have steadily declined. In recent years, dealing with them has become a headache due to their lack of organization and reliability. I am eagerly awaiting the end of the current tenancy agreements for my properties, so I can avoid further frustrations with Foxtons.

Very diplomatic, honest and knowledgeable. I'd definitely approach the team again if we were considering buying or selling in the future.
