15th Mar 2024 (6 weeks ago)Cons : they only checked in after 12 weeks and once when we had a possible viewing. This felt quite poor over 26 weeks. I requested some replacement photos to use alongside a price drop to create some Interest. Advisor quite abrupt and unhappy at the request . Refused/strongly advised this was not necessary even though work had been done to improve the home since original photos taken . Communication was poor with very little contact over a 26 week period. Didn’t see home marketed via Facebook or email shots . Some of the Photos weren’t the best , make sure you really check them before you approve . Pros : Service was quick and effective at point of set up. Staff were otherwise polite and pleasant to deal with . Always returned calls when I rang . Board went up quickly and photographer was quick. Some of the photos were good. House did not sell or even have a viewing within 26 weeks which is unusual in a popular area.
29th Feb 2024 (8 weeks ago)I was exceptionally pleased with the service from Sanderson Young. All the staff I met with were friendly, professional, informative and efficient. Not being from the area, they were able to suggest an excellent solicitor to oversee my house purchase. The whole process was smooth and stress-free. My partner and I couldn't have wished for more.

18th Sep 2023 (7 mo. ago)Awful agency. Rude on the phone, have spoken to both Chloe and Emma in the office over the course of the last month - I applied for a property on the 22nd August. When I viewed it I was shown round by someone acting "on behalf of the agents" who didn't even greet me or say hello just ignored my friendly greeting and walked past me to unlock the door and let me in. I was told that there was no concrete interest by the office staff prior to viewing, but after submitting all my documents over the next 2 days I was told there were multiple people's applications under consideration. I called back after 2 weeks when I had no response to my application and was promised a call back that afternoon. I then called again the next day after no one called me and the same thing happened again the next day too. Eventually I left a message on the answer machine a week ago with no response. Seeing the property has still been available online throughout I finally managed to contact the office this morning to be told that it's not available and has been let. After expressing politely that I hadn't been happy with the level of customer service I was rudely told that they are just very busy right now. I explained this has been an issue with multiple people on several occasions, where I was again rudely interrupted to be told it couldn't have been multiple people as there are only 2 people in the office (?) .... the customer service and professionalism that's been shown throughout my interactions with the company have been appalling, on top of the fact they have taken a month taking in multiple applicants and requiring them to find references and guarantors just to apply. You aren't just contributing to the current housing crisis you are actively making it worse for people. I'm sure they are lovely to you when you're an owner selling or a landlord renting but it's a shame that level of professionalism and courtesy doesn't extend to the people who are being taken advantage of in the rental sector as tenants, who are just looking for somewhere to live.

30th Oct 2023 (5 mo. ago)Tenants Avoid. We didn’t even make the end of our 1yr tenancy. Issues with damp in the property took ages to resolve, property was frozen during cost of living. No sympathy from anyone at HP, people who came to look at damp were rude and condescending. Genuinely made me wonder why I was paying rent if none of that money can be used to make properties habitable. If you’re smart enough to look at reviews before signing the tenancy, you’re smart enough to reconsider. Wish we had.

Very good advice received, no high pressure sales from the agent. They are very forward thinking and proactive. Have some amazing ideas to get your property seen straight away. Highly recommended.
