1st Feb 2024 (15 weeks ago)Overall experience was great. Original valuation was quite over what I expected but the housing market near the end of 2023 was difficult to predict. Mo and Joe were both very supportive and had great communication in regards to the sale.

17th Aug 2023 (8 mo. ago)Valuation was low. Clearly the agent wanted a very quick sale at my expense. The valuation was based on a 4 bed house in a 5 mile radius and not the local area or condition of the property. As the agent stated it’s just another 4 bed property. I insisted on an increased which was justified by the eventual sale price. Very slow to respond to emails and missed an offer by the eventual buyer after I prompted them after 4 days that the buyer had contacted me with an offer after no response from the agents. It very much felt like I was doing all the running, negotiating with the buyer and pushing things along. On exchange day the agents went off line and I was left to chase the buyer and solicitors, hence we missed the exchange.

11th May 2024 (5 days ago)In a slow market (September 2023) Lloyd and the team went about their job with enthusiasm and clear communication. They found a suitable buyer within 6 weeks after which they showed patience and perseverance and the Conveyancers first chosen by the buyer were absolutely useless. Stonhills kept pressing and gently pushing and although the buyer had to change Conveyancer after 5 months, we achieved Completion on 30/4/24. My thanks to the Stonhills team, I recommend them

They couldn't have done more for us and they were there every step of the way that we needed them. I will be recommending to everyone to utilise the Wonder Team at Richard James! Moreover, April Marks was a godsend. Friendly, proactive and extremely intelligent. She is the best person in estate agency I've come across.

15th Sep 2020 (3 years ago)Very unprofessional and disgraceful company with no regards to a good customer service. I had a pre-scheduled viewing then someone else was being showed around the property first whilst I was at the address ahead of time. Letting agent conducted himself in an unsuitable manner. Stalled the whole process for over two days after I paid holding fee and then I was lied to and told landlords provided alternative instructions when in reality they let the property with someone else. Office staff constantly contradicting themselves, tangling in their own lies, showing complete disregard to a customer, lacking integrity and moral code. It is appalling companies like this are still operating.

Because; I always dealt with the one person who knew - exactly what was going on - at all times. Very helpful. Good communications, and Not expensive. They found us abuyer, and got the Sale completed as quickly as was possible. Just Brilliant. What more could you ask for ?

Together with his business partner Chris Mobbs they created plenty of viewings culminating in a good sale price. The marketing strategy was above and beyond others and the communication always timely and helpful. Overall we feel that F&C offer a very professional and personal service.

Plenty of viewings all accompanied by Jamie but we took the property off the market before any forthcoming offers for reasons not related to belvoir. All in all an efficient service and nothing to complain about.
