Maddie kept us in the loop throughout the whole process which was stressful at times and kept in contact with our solicitor and notified us immediately about the current situation. We are extremely grateful and so happy we are now in our lovely new home. Moving is inevitably stressful but instructing Howkins and Harrison was the best decision we could have made. 19th May 2026 (5 days ago)I have been really impressed with Ben Treloar, very professional but also friendly and good humored in his approach, my experience has taught me that I am able to trust his views and judgement, don't get the feeling that he is only interested in securing a tenant for a property like some estate agents who give you the hard sell even when you're both looking at a dump of a property, that sort of attitude betrays a lack of integrity in my view. He is also very helpful in making great suggestions regarding the use of living space, This is now the second time that Ben is helping to secure me a tenancy, there were a few issues with the current property which Ben immediately brought to the attention of the landlord to bring about a swift resolution. Well done Ben! I hope you are appreciated :) Carol

TBH they need the patience of a saint with some people. The sales negotiator is very professional, (think I'd be drinking heavily if I had to deal with some buyers). 5th May 2026 (19 days ago)Last week on Friday I saw a property 2 bedroom on Chaucer Street with my wife. The young estate agent was fantastic. Honest and geniune and knows her stuff we didn't know the area and her research was top notch. Now I have had a dodgy experience through estate agents referring to J. G. Northampton. It was refreshing to ask this young lady questions and she answered them with distinction. Top notch. Very happy with the service she provided.

14th Apr 2026 (6 weeks ago)I would not recommend this letting agent or the landlords they represent. I was served a no-fault eviction, completely out of the blue, and the property was immediately re-listed despite there being no issues during my tenancy. On top of that, they attempted to withhold almost the entire deposit for “cleaning, including carpets”. Fortunately, the Deposit Protection Scheme reviewed the evidence fairly and correctly ruled that the property (including the carpets) had been returned in an appropriate condition — in fact cleaner than at the start of the tenancy. Overall, a very disappointing experience. Credit to the DPS for handling the dispute properly, but I would strongly advise caution when dealing with this agent.

Dads' home ticked boxes but was niche which meant it was not easiest property to sell. I would highly recommend this Estate Agent to market and sell your property, their knowledge and marketing skills are excellent. I was kept in the loop what was happening. A big thank you Julia

They’re professional, organised, friendly, and always a pleasure to deal with. The communication is excellent, and they consistently provide work opportunities and support. It’s refreshing to work with a company that values good relationships and professionalism so highly. I’d highly recommend Chelton Brown to anyone looking for a reliable and well-run block management company.- 8th May 2026 (16 days ago)I have been using Howkins and Harrison to manage my properties for approximately the last 10 years. Whilst I have always received a good service my recent experience has been outstanding. A cylinder fell off the wall in the airing cupboard damaging the main water tank and splitting a water pipe. This resulted in water escaping onto the landing coming through the downstairs ceilings, tripping the electrics in the house. The way Alison Edwards dealt with this was fantastic. As soon as she was aware, she attended the property to ensure the tenant was okay and the property safe. She contacted multiple contractors and within a couple of hours had a plumber and electrician on site. She made sensible decisions on our behalf, monitored the progress of the works being carried out over the 2 weeks it took to put everything right and kept us and the tenant updated throughout. We would like to thank her for the time and care she took and for how she treated the property as if it were her own. Thank you to the team at Howkins for the work they have done for us over the years and a massive thank you to Alison. You are a true star!
18th May 2026 (6 days ago)We were unexpectedly put in the position of having to sell our parents home in Daventry. We spoke to a few estate agents but Amanda Loydall from Campbells was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and gave us great confidence that we would sell the property and in a timely manner which is what we needed to hear. I would say I have had bad experiences in the past with Estate Agents however the process with Campbells has been seamless and exactly how Amanda explained it would be. We received an email outlining what would happen, the contacts we needed and a solicitor. We had a process where the potential buyers would view the property over 2/3 days and they were all vetted to make sure they were suitable for the property. This worked so well and we were very impressed by how smoothly this process was and we were informed every step of the way. We also had a what’s ap group which gave us quick connections and information throughout the process. We would like to thank Amanda and her team at Campbells for making this a smooth successful process and would highly recommend Campbells for your property journey.

Dedicated consultant Adele ticked all the boxes from the initial enthusiastic presentation to completing the sale of our property.
