6th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)We sold our house through Fine & Country. Liz Teasdale and Nicola Lorraine held our hands every step of the way. They promptly answered any queries we had, were reassuring when the process was at its most pedantic and calmed us down when we were stressed. From the superb photos taken at the start, all the way through the whole process Nicola and Liz were professional and attentive and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They might be slightly more expensive than other Estate Agents but they were worth every penny. So glad we used Liz and Nicola.
18th Mar 2026 (3 days ago)We tried to rent a house together as brothers, and despite making it clear we are family — not unrelated sharers — the letting agent refused to take our details or consider us as joint tenants, saying they don’t allow sharers. It’s misleading and unprofessional to treat two siblings as “sharers” when UK housing definitions generally consider family members living together as one household. This left us confused and unable to progress our rental search. The agent gave no clear, lawful reason — just repeated refusal to engage properly. If you’re a family looking for a place together, be aware that this agency may misapply its own policies and potentially misinterpret basic housing law. That’s where I met an amazing and exceptional woman named Rebecca, the team’s Mortgage Services Manager. From the moment we spoke, I connected with her straight away. She took all my anxieties and worries away by providing clear, detailed information about mortgages, affordability, and the entire process as a first?time buyer. She explained everything with patience and care, making sure I understood each step. Rebecca is truly remarkable. She made me feel at ease and supported me throughout the journey of purchasing the property of my choice. She has been flexible, polite, patient, informative, and always accessible whenever I needed guidance. I also want to thank Josh and Ellie, two of the agents I worked with while searching for a property. They were professional, informative, accessible, and genuinely helpful. I highly recommend William H Brown in Wellingborough. The team’s professionalism, warmth, and dedication made a world of difference :)

11th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)Our experience selling with them was more than disappointing from start to finish. They are rude, condescending and bad professionals to the point that I was tempted more than once to pull off in order to avoid them getting any money from me. Tom tried once to convince me in the rudest way, as if I didn’t understand plain English, that I had to hire an architect and spend thousands of pounds in order to get the second floor of my property regularised when the property was build that way in 1853. One call from me to Building Control and the issue was solved. On one occasion Tom called saying the buyers wanted to come on the next day to take measures of the place. We accepted. On the day of the visit nobody came and no one contacted us. When we called to the office Tom was on his day off and David said “let me see what happened and I’ll come back to you”. We didn’t have any news back. Weeks after, when I met the buyers in person, I learned that they never requested the visit in first place. I could relate many other negative experiences to illustrate how incompetent and bad professional Tom is, but I will just summarise by saying that I would stay away from them at all costs.Your Move - Hobin Roberts - Northampton

20th Mar 2026 (1 day ago)We sold and purchased our home through O’Riordan Bond (East Hunsbury and Grange Park branch), and the service we received was outstanding from start to finish. Emma made the conveyancing process so much easier, she kept me sane throughout! She was always on hand with updates, went above and beyond, and truly delivered on everything she promised. Lee was fantastic in handling the mortgage side of things. Even when our children were present during appointments, he was patient and engaging with them, which made a big difference. He explained everything clearly and made the whole process feel easy. Joe... without Joe, none of this would have happened. He is an exceptional agent. He consistently kept us informed with detailed feedback after viewings and was always proactive with updates. When we viewed properties with Joe, his knowledge was incredible, from boiler service history to even which way the sun rises and sets. Viewing with him really boosted our confidence in the branch. We also had viewings with the Grange Park team and received the same high level of service. Our questions were always answered, and the viewings were informative and engaging. We viewed many houses during our search and dealt with most agents across Northampton and O’Riordan Bond truly stood out above the rest. If you are looking to sell or purchase a home, I would highly recommend O’Riordan Bond.

The viewing and offer process was good with some advice on how best to present the property for prospective buyers. While our whole move was not straight forward, Jo kept us well informed at all stages, and was able to help us stay on course when we ran into issues. Over all - a good experience, and professional engagement. Thanks Jo, Richard and team for making our move happen for us!

I chose them due to having sold similar houses close by and gut feeling. Honestly it could not have gone better, I was lucky enough to get multiple offers from the first viewings, Nick did a great job. Sam kept me up to date with the sale progress better than my Solicitor. Using WhatsApp was so convenient for me. All around they are a great team and I highly recommend them. I would use them again without a second thought.

Considering we were with another estate agents before them, we have never known an estate agent to get back to us so quickly. From the start they have kept communication with us, they have dealt with any little issues super quickly. They were polite and understanding. They ensured our move was smooth and easy and communicated effectively throughout. They have checked in with us already too which is lovely. We have a direct person to communicate any issues with, which is so helpful. At previous estate agents, we had to wait on responses and things would get passed to a different person and we wouldn’t know who to ask for. Charlton brown have been so great, thank you for such an easy transition.

They went above and beyond for me, I lived a 2 hour drive away and they were amazing, being there for lots of little things to save me a trip north I would 100% recommend them

17th Nov 2025 (18 weeks ago)They didn’t sell my house. I had to pull them off and go for a PTX as they began to give me anxiety. They didn’t keep me up to date and when it came to speaking to my PTX company they gave inaccurate information which affected my valuation. They seem like lovely people but I don’t think I will recommend them to anyone as there were just too many issues that I felt I didn’t have to deal with.
