Their local knowledge of the area is a bonus to any buyer. Couldn't ask for a better estate agent. They even put up with my partner popping in every 5 minutes to see how things were going! Amazing team of dedicated professionals.

What an experience from start to finish.....from the initial meeting through to the final sales closure of our property I don't think you could find a more diligent, professional and caring service Liz and Nicola provided sound advice time after time and clearly understood our requirements from the beginning Not only did they sell our house in a record time of 8 weeks from advertisement to completion they also exceeded our expectations in the calibre of buyers they bought to the table and the price we managed to achieve Having sold houses previously I would simply say that their knowledge , service and expertise in what they do is second to none They are a great team and I would whole heartedly recommend them to anyone selling their property

Take a moment to read my review, and I promise you won't regret it. Moving can be a tedious and lengthy process, especially when settling in a new town or country. However, my experience with Brown and Merry was remarkably smooth. After contacting several agencies and registering with many online, I shortlisted properties from Brown and Merry and other agencies. Their properties stood out, and when it came to the letting process, they made it seamless. What impressed me most was the negotiation with the landlord. Alexander Read handled the discussions with professionalism and finesse, ensuring we secured the property under comfortable circumstances. Keeping up to date with current legislation and updating me as and when required. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them. She was also great with my kids during the viewings - clearly prepared to go the extra mile Kept me in touch through the process and the tenant system used (goodlord) was easy to work through and gave good visibility

23rd Sep 2024 (6 mo. ago)Please do not go with this group of cowboys. We rented our property with them for one year and the experience was horrendous. Their electrician quoted £1500 for work, we then got the work completed be a different qualified electrician for £150. The staff were very rude and pushy towards using their own tradesmen, that’s if you could speak with a member of staff on the phone without them cutting you off. They have taken 2 months rent payments from our tenant who is a pensioner with limited funds, even though their contract has ended, we have been fighting to get this money returned for the past 3 weeks, with no joy as yet, even though they admit it is entirely their fault, they each blame different departments. Absolutely would never recommend this company.

From the initial viewing through to completion Martin was very professional and kept us updated with everything. The agent kept me informed at every stage, making the process smooth and stress-free. I would definitely use his services again and highly recommend him to anyone looking to sell/buy their home!
18th Mar 2024 (1 year ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

We sold our property within a week with campbells From start to finish Jamie and Sian where there to answer any questions we had and and we were kept upto date every week with the progress At times it became overwhelming and Sian was always there to reassure us Thanks guys for everything

The process from start to finish was very quick and not complicated. When I entered the property for the first time, I was really impressed with how clean it had been left for me. I have now been in the property for just over a week and I'm really happy with it and feel very much at home. Super friendly staff too.

10th Sep 2024 (6 mo. ago)The staff are polite enough when being interacted with regarding our property that we rent. However, time management is poor. We have regularly had scheduled house inspections so we can keep each party updated on the house and when they turn up all is well, but countless times they have not turned up to the house inspections when we, the tenants, have taken days off work to be available for this and consequently we’re out of wages due to this. It is unacceptable and they are consistently unapologetic. Communication between their staff needs to be improved as well as to their tenants.
