9th Mar 2026 (12 days ago)As first time buyers we honestly didn’t really know what to expect but Lauren made the whole process easy for us. She was super friendly from the start and genuinely seemed really happy for us the whole way through. She kept us updated regularly with what was going on in the chain so we always felt in the loop, which we really appreciated. When we went to pick up the keys Lauren wasn’t there, but we met Lisa who was also really lovely and welcoming. Such a lovely touch as well being given a little gift box with some new home essentials like washing detergent and tea bags ?? Big thank you to Lauren and the rest of the team. We’re so happy to finally be homeowners and would definitely use Carter Williams again in the future! 10/10 Lucy & Lee x
6th Mar 2026 (15 days ago)We sold our house through Fine & Country. Liz Teasdale and Nicola Lorraine held our hands every step of the way. They promptly answered any queries we had, were reassuring when the process was at its most pedantic and calmed us down when we were stressed. From the superb photos taken at the start, all the way through the whole process Nicola and Liz were professional and attentive and we cannot recommend them highly enough. They might be slightly more expensive than other Estate Agents but they were worth every penny. So glad we used Liz and Nicola.

11th Mar 2026 (10 days ago)Our experience selling with them was more than disappointing from start to finish. They are rude, condescending and bad professionals to the point that I was tempted more than once to pull off in order to avoid them getting any money from me. Tom tried once to convince me in the rudest way, as if I didn’t understand plain English, that I had to hire an architect and spend thousands of pounds in order to get the second floor of my property regularised when the property was build that way in 1853. One call from me to Building Control and the issue was solved. On one occasion Tom called saying the buyers wanted to come on the next day to take measures of the place. We accepted. On the day of the visit nobody came and no one contacted us. When we called to the office Tom was on his day off and David said “let me see what happened and I’ll come back to you”. We didn’t have any news back. Weeks after, when I met the buyers in person, I learned that they never requested the visit in first place. I could relate many other negative experiences to illustrate how incompetent and bad professional Tom is, but I will just summarise by saying that I would stay away from them at all costs.

They were friendly, helpful, and professional while giving the whole process a human touch. Would recommend. Thanks to Luke, Aiden, Kirsty, and Sophia for helping us find our new home!

Considering we were with another estate agents before them, we have never known an estate agent to get back to us so quickly. From the start they have kept communication with us, they have dealt with any little issues super quickly. They were polite and understanding. They ensured our move was smooth and easy and communicated effectively throughout. They have checked in with us already too which is lovely. We have a direct person to communicate any issues with, which is so helpful. At previous estate agents, we had to wait on responses and things would get passed to a different person and we wouldn’t know who to ask for. Charlton brown have been so great, thank you for such an easy transition.
18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

The whole team demonstrated excellence and professionalism. Codie was absolutely brilliant throughout — from showing us around properties to guiding us all the way through to completion. She was always helpful, approachable, and happy to answer any questions we had, no matter how small. We felt genuinely supported at every stage of the process. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this estate agent, especially for first-time buyers.

Rude ,unprofessional and not capable of providing the service they claim .Avoid at all costs .When you are paying someone a lot of money to do a job you expect it done properly .These people lie through their teeth ,lack basic understanding of the construction issues involved in housing and use contractors who charge huge amounts for shoddy workmanship ..I have pictures of a boiler that was supposed to have been serviced every year which was a hazard. Disgusting dangerous .They're lucky they didn't wind up in court for what they did .Absolutely rip off merchant's- 24th Oct 2025 (21 weeks ago)We contacted O'Riordan Bond kingsthorpe brach to sell our home after having used two other estate agents beforehand. Their communication was fantastic, the whole process was smooth and easy, they went above and beyond to assist us with any queries, they were friendly, honest and quite frankly, excellent all round. We will be returning when the time comes to sell our next home and to purchase another. I cannot thank you all enough.
