We needed to sell quickly in order to secure the house we wanted and bw able to place a formal offer. They worked at speed, when I requested a valuation they respond immediately and launched our sale within a couple of weeks. Their service was first rate and included a pre launch video, a promotional video and an open day. We were able to secure our asking price, so our purchase could proceed. Their communication to us kept us fully informed throughout the process and all queries were dealt with in a timely manner. On a personal level we found Claire and Sam lovely professional people to deal with and they were always focused on delivery of great customer service. We highly recommend them.

Her knowledge of the property was excellent, and she was able to answer all my questions with confidence. Evie was consistently helpful throughout the entire process.
5th May 2026 (4 days ago)Last week on Friday I saw a property 2 bedroom on Chaucer Street with my wife. The young estate agent was fantastic. Honest and geniune and knows her stuff we didn't know the area and her research was top notch. Now I have had a dodgy experience through estate agents referring to J. G. Northampton. It was refreshing to ask this young lady questions and she answered them with distinction. Top notch. Very happy with the service she provided.

He explained everything clearly, kept us updated throughout,. We really appreciate his patience and professionalism, especially when answering all our questions as a first-time buyer. We would highly recommend him and his team to anyone looking for reliable mortgage advice.”
5th May 2026 (4 days ago)Avoid all house share viewings, the prices that they as a company post are absolutely diabolical in comparison to not only the market but for what they offer. Out of all 3 viewings I did, they were awful. 6 people to a house, all houses had a ran down kitchen, not up to date it’s an absolute mess. the floors were broken in all the rooms with a shoddy carpet just pulled over it? The walls were cracked the toilets i viewed literally had pee over the floor. It’s like no one even went out to clean it prior or even quality checked the house. The fact that this if it was 300 PM I would be like you know what? You get what you pay for. but how are you asking 6/700 Per month when there’s 500/600 PM market houses that are fully furnished with less people and more space….?? If your seeing this and your in dire need of a house share like I was and in a rush for time PLEASE do not turn to these guys for a solution they will over charge you for your stay there is WAY more better places out there and cheaper. There’s a reason why they have so many rooms available it’s because so many people are leaving and the quality and cleanliness is a JOKE. Even the the furniture that “ came with the room” that you can’t “ get rid of “ was broken..? Like what? This isn’t a reflection on the agents as individuals but as a company, it’s greedy and your properties are dehumanising. Find a private landlord on spare room.

18th Mar 2024 (2 years ago)DO NOT SELL YOUR BUSINESS THROUGH THIS COMPANY! READ THE SMALL PRINT This company are extremely aggressive and unprofessional. We advertised a business with them, paid an huge fee to advertise. Later after terminating, we agreed investment (not even a sale) from an investor we met directly, who was never introduced by Hilton Smythe. After accepting investment after terminating with Hilton Smythe they demanded their commission!! Totally unreasonable given it was after termination and the person who invested in our business was never known to or introduced by Hilton Smythe! They are now behaving aggressively and threatening legal action. We in turn have reported them to the ombudsman and trading standards. They are snake oil salesmen. DO NOT DEAL!

Throughout every stage, they were thorough, on the mark, and gave me complete peace of mind with no worries whatsoever. Natasha and Ian are a brilliant team — always willing to help, always one step ahead, and nothing is ever too much trouble. The quality of service is second to none and I would not hesitate for a single moment to appoint them as my agents again. If you're looking for agents you can truly rely on, look no further. Couldn’t have picked a better estate agent the way they marketed the property and went out of their way to find a buyer who almost paid the asking price . They showed professionalism and took personal interest in streamlining the whole process throughout to completion. We were always kept informed at every stage without having to chase them. Thank you to the director and the staff at Abington Branch and would definitely recommend to anyone who wish to use their services . I look forward to doing business with you again ??????

Their communication was fantastic, the whole process was smooth and easy, they went above and beyond to assist us with any queries, they were friendly, honest and quite frankly, excellent all round. We will be returning when the time comes to sell our next home and to purchase another. I cannot thank you all enough.

I think slightly more thorough checks could have been done to check all of the electric ports/ electric company had been told of our move, but overall a quick and smooth experience to get us moved in.

3rd May 2026 (6 days ago)Received multiple unsolicited marketing letters from this estate agent despite our property already being listed and now sold. I’ve had no prior contact with them, and no other agents have been this persistent. Feels excessive and a bit pushy to be honest.
